"This restaurant is located right on Fort Myers beach and you can eat looking at the ocean.
The food itself is amazing. I had the scallops for appetizer, which were very fresh and cooked perfectly,
For my main course I had the Teriyaki Chilean sea bass. This dish was fantastic and I feel it was one of the best executions of this fish that I've ever had."

"We were in Fort Myers for just one night and are so glad we found this restaurant! We sat outside overlooking the beach and watching the sunset with a well made martini. This was only outdone by the food that followed. We had the pecan and cranberry grouper and enjoyed every single bite. Everything about this restaurant was perfect!"

"I chose the Fresh Catch Bistro for a small retirement party. The food was outstanding. Each of us ordered a different dish and every one surpassed our expectations. The Pecan Crusted Grouper, Sea Bass, Scallops, and Tuna dishes were done to perfection with beautiful presentation. We shared three desserts and could not decide which was our favorite, but decided we would come back for the Key Lime Pie or Peanut Butter pie anytime. In all, the best restaurant I have found in Fort Myers in the three years I have lived here. The prices were reasonable for the delicious food and vIew of the beach and evening sunset. This is where I will take my out of town guests for a great taste of Fort Myers."

"The Positive - the food had a good taste. The salads were very good. The scallops and fish had a great taste, but both were just a bit undercooked. The Not Very Positive - don't ask for a beer! No microbrewery, no pale ale, one dark beer. The waiter said they had 30 all in bottles and not interesting. They were really a wine place. We drink both wine and beer and sometimes like to start with a beer. Summary - I'd rather go elsewhere!"

"We (Party of 6) Sat outside per our reservation request. Due to strong winds it was cold. Requested inside seating and told it would be 1-2 hour wait. Decided to eat outside and requested to have outside heater turned on. Busboy had to go to local store for a replacement propane tank, as all the tanks at the restaurant were empty. After the full tank was installed in the heater no one lit it. Had to find the manager ourselves to have it lit. If we were to eat here again we would request inside seating."

"Service was slow. We grew tired of waiting for our food and asked our server to check; he informed us of an even longer wait. When we advised one of the managers (or assistants?), he told the manager who came to our table to tell us that, according to his computer, our drinks came at such and such a time, etc., and our wait time wasn't that long. We had already let the assistant know that we didn't want any discounts or free desserts or anything else, just thought he should know that the wait was too long. We thought the manager was quite rude.

"Fresh Catch has a "fine dining" feel that puts it above most anywhere else on Ft. Myers Beach. The environment is unique with an upscale look and an outdoor dining option overlooking the beach.
I didn't think anyone was on their 'A-game' as far as service or overall management was concerned. The hostesses seemed hurried and unorganized and it looked as if they only had one bartender working for the entire restaurant. He avoided making eye contact as if he didn't time to provide service. Outdoor heaters were out of propane which made the patio chilly.
We will likely return in hopes that we caught them on a bad night."

"Interesting menu. Fish entrees were the best!! Signature dish, Pecan encrusted cranberry grouper was outstanding. We went there twice during our visit and enjoyed our meals immensely. Food was beautifully presented and piping hot! The manager came to our table on both visits to inquire about our meals. He was also the wine steward who made excellent suggestions. The sunset on Fort Myers beach only added to our evening. Service was excellent, prompt and not obtrusive. A wonderful restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. We would highly recommend it and would go back on our next visit to Ft. Myers area."

"Went there for our 30th anniversary. Our reservation was for 8:30 but we arrived early and they accomodated us immediately. Wine list was fairly extensive and they were in the process of updating it. Lobster tails were some of the best we've ever had and the steamed mussels were excellent. Danny, our server, was attentive but not overly so. All in all, an excellent dining experience."

"The service here was horrible. Our server would chat for long periods of time at some tables and then run by our table with the smallest possible interaction to get his job completed, except when he delivered the check! Then he wanted to know how long we were in town, etc. Extremely transparent.
The oysters we ordered were tough and chewy. The lobster tail special was good, but the presentation with a few vegetables laying under the tails was uninspired at best.
The location directly on the beach was the only real selling point of this restaurant.
Despite its location, we will not be visiting again."

The menu was varied but specializing in seafood.The selection was wonderful, I have had better escargot.There were enough of them mixed with mushrooms but in a thin garlic butter sauce. All of the salads and main courses were commendable. We were all full so didn't have dessert. They have a dessert tray that looked delicious. The coffee pot was broken so no one could have a cup which was disappointing. The service was very slow and the restaurant was crowded. I would definitely try it again however."

"It was OK. The fish is fresh but my grouper was a bit overcooked. My wife's salmon was well prepared. The noise level made conversation difficult. All in all it was not bad neither was it something to rave about or recommend. The people who recommended it to us did the bar meal which is $5 drinks and $5 appetizer which can make for an inexpensive meal. We did not wish to go early to sit at the bar. What makes this a good choice for many will be it is a step up from most of the places which cater more to a younger beach crowd."

"Our first experience here was very good, so we chose to take friends from out of town. BIG mistake! We have never been so embarrassed. The server was inattentive and the food was VERY slow coming out of the kitchen even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. They were out of a side item on the menu but changed it without letting us know. When we pointed it out, no apologies just that's the way it is. Management wasn't any better. Tough. Won't be going back there."

"The best fine dining establishment On Fort myers Beach despite what others may claim! Outstanding food, service, atmosphere and views! Our server, Chris, was helpful in explaining the menu and specials. His suggestion of crusted grouper was a real hit. In the competition. For the fine dining dollar Fresh Caach is clearly the winner!"
