Euclid Hall is the third restaurant from the team of Jennifer Jasinski and Beth Gruitch, owners of the award winning Rioja and Bistro Vendôme on Denver’s historic Larimer Square. Located in Euclid Hall, an 1883 building that once housed the venerable Soapy Smith's bar, this American tavern features high quality and innovative pub food from around the world including housemade sausages, poutines and schnitzels. An award-winning beer selection, wine on tap and creative cocktails drives the beverage program.

"We had a relatively large group (8) and had a couple special requests (window and music volume) that the restaurant handled promptly and with aplomb. They did a great job helping our finicky guests feel right at home. Thanks much.

"My Fiancé and I have been there before and always loved it but this time I took most members of my family for my graduation dinner. As always the food was wonderful, even my 88 year old grandmother loved it. We went pretty early in the day so it was still quiet which was nice. Plus, I had forgotten to mention on the reservation that I needed a table downstairs because my grandmother could not climb to many stairs. When I asked if we could sit downstairs they were so nice about it and changed our table right away. I really appreciated that."

"It is very noisy. Our server was better once we bonded with him. The clam chowder and s'mores dessert were the only good dishes. My oyster po boy wasn't cooked through and the chicken and waffles come with weird triangular shaped chicken. Not very tasty either."

"On a recommendation, we tried Euclid Hall for a birthday celebration. We made a reservation for a Saturday evening and were a half hour late, but they were gracious and didn't give up our table. The staff were very friendly, attentive, but didn't rush us. The food was a fun mix of pub food and everything that we ordered was very good. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the music...it was a bit loud for a group of 8 but I think smaller parties wouldn't have a problem. Overall, I would definitely recommend Euclid Hall and would go back again."

"My girlfriends and I met here to start off a Girls' Night Out. They were very accomodating to our group and there was no pressure to hurry. The food was declious. Seriously, everything we ate was delicious. When the food was delivered to our table the server was very knowledgeable and explained what we were having very well. Even the picky eaters found something they loved. We appreciated the attentive wait staff and the willingness to split our bill at the end of the meal. We all had a wonderful time and will definitely come back.

"Not a very good place for business lunch. I've heard that it has a good bar scene and I can see that it has good stuff for that, however, they played the music at lunch as if it were Happy Hour. It was too loud for a comfortable business lunch. The food was excellent, but portions for an individual item are a bit small."

"Awesome place! They were doing a great 5280 restaurant week deal so the hubs and I had to check it out. We rarely eat downtown because it's so far from our house, usually just for special occasions. "Energetic is a terrible way to describe the noise in this restaurant. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! We could not hear what our dining partners were saying and they were 2 feet away from us. The music was just unbelievably obnoxiously loud. To compensate, everyone at every table was yelling at their dining partners which just made everything worse. We loved the food and the service was very good but we will never go back and will never recommend this place because the noise was just beyond bad - it was really, actually, miserable. We are people who actually like a noisy restaurant but this felt like we were in a sub-par college bar."

"Euclid Hall was really good. The food was tasty, the drinks were delicious and dessert was amazing. My only complaint was the slow service, which I am fairly sure was due to it being restaurant week. Get the chicken and waffles, now! Try the spatzel, you'll be happy you did. I really like this place! Will definitely go again. Oh and if you go on a busy night, just get valet. $8 and you're not driving around for 20minutes looking for $15 lot parking or the ever scarce street parking."

"Euclid Hall has been on my radar for quite some time and my girlfriend and I decided to take advantage of the offerings here during restaurant week. We were very happy as this young and energetic foodie establishment didn't disappoint. The service was excellent. The waiting staff, the hostess, bus boys, and servers themselves all worked in great unison together and were remarkably efficient. The food variety on the menu was amazing. It was so refreshing to look at a menu for once where I didn't recognize the same old staples. The atmosphere was lively and energetic. This isn't the place to go if you want peace and quiet. A great place however for a group an just overall a fun time. Great time and will be back!"

"Too many tables cramming guests in like sardines. Poor acoustics – couldn't hear my husband sitting 24" across from me. No place to stand or sit while waiting for our table to be ready. (Yes, we had a reservation.) Glorified bar food, overpriced for the ingredients and serving. Too heavy and greasy for out liking. Dessert (part of the 5280 menu) was barely edible as it was much too sweet. A disappointment."

"The Thai pig ears were decent but our entrees were AWFUL. My poutine was so salty it was inedible. My husband's sandwich was mushy and tasted like garbage. Dessert waffle was soggy and the salted praline ice cream was too sweet at first but then had big chunks of salt giving it an aftertaste like a salt lick. Worst meal in years."

"I have to say that even though I really enjoyed the restaurant feel, I had a horrible experience with our waitress.I have food allergies & have to be VERY careful on what I eat.Each time I asked questions about the food and what was in it, I got a bad attitude from our waitress. It was like I was putting her out of her way to help me understand the menu.The more I asked, the worse she got.I had to take medicine when I got home due to a reaction to the food.I understand that people without allergies have a hard time dealing with our restrictions, but I tried to be as nice as possible, and her attitude was horrible.It was my first time & will give it 1 more try - hopefully we won't have the same waitress again!"

"Our goal at restaurant week is to sample new food and new places with friends and to share our reactions. We liked (not loved) most of what we had at Euclid but the music was literally painfully loud. We couldn't talk about the food or anything else and I saw my friends slump back in their chairs, overwhelmed by the barrage. I know we weren't alone in this because they finally turned the music down and we hadn't complained. If the food had been absolutely spectacular the night might have been passable but it was only interesting -- not great, and the noise ruined the evening."

"Euclid has an excellent beer selection and their 5280 menu was vast. Service was just ok. Waited 40 minutes for a table, even though we had a reservation, and then we were seated in the bar at a narrow high top on bar stools. Our server was constantly looking over her shoulder at her other guests, didn't seem too interested in answering our questions about the menu. The food was delicious though and I may give it another try, though the staff did leave a bad taste in my mouth."

"Came here with a Denver-based friend during Denver Food Week. We read through the large list of participating restaurants and when I mentioned Euclid Hall he stopped me and off we went. Food was very good, I really enjoyed every dish that was brought to the table, as I tried my dishes and my friend's dishes. Would definitely return."

"The appetizers and dessert were the standouts for us during 2013's Denver Restaurant Week. We LOVED the very unique and somehow refreshing take on the Chips & Dip; the lemon cut through the grease, and the shaved meat melted in our mouths. The Spatzle was equally delicious with its puffy texture. We enjoyed the "gourmet" interpretation of poutines, but they were a tad too salty. The housemade icecream was excellent and the hazelnut crumbles accompanied it perfectly with the not-too-sweet cake. Service was fine, but less polished and less personal than JJasinski's other restaurants (Bistro Vendome and Rioja). Beer and wine selection looks great. HIGHLY recommended!"

"Tried Euclid Hall for the first time during Denver Restaurant Week 2013 and was BEYOND impressed. One of our appetizers was the marrow bone, which was amazingly good, but what really impressed us was when a server brought us one of their sausages on the house because "the chef decided your marrow bone wasn't up to par, so he is having it made again." Talk about excellent service! Will absolutely be back to Euclid Hall."
