From their aperitivi to their gelati, Bottega Pizzeria brings a taste and feel of Italy to Montreal's Little Italy. Their passion for quality serves as a driving force behind all their hand-made products. Their authentic Neapolitan pizzas are cooked in a 900 degree oven, imported from Naples. Since 2006, Bottega has been inviting guests to come together and share some of Italy's traditions with their friends and family.

"Food was as usual, great, but the maître d' should take a few lessons in courtesy.
We were 3 people, and he sat us at a table for 2 with an extra chair. When I told him that I want a larger table, he said wait 30 minutes, very sarcastically. There was a small empty table next to us, and I asked him to hove it so we would not have to sit "on top of each other", and he said no "because I have 2 of my friends at the door". He was very rude, and sort of looked down on us."

"It's our second time at Bottega Laval. We loved the 1st and we were still amazed on the 2nd visit. The menu focuses on the essentials : selection of pizzas, ONE pasta dish (changing daily). Good selection of appetizers. No need for a longer menu. They focus on what they know and they do it to perfection. Best pizza we have ever had (Napolitan type pizza). Better than what we had in Napoli. You can also share a few appetizers and make this a meal. The appetizer selection are the italian classics, but again, done so well. Friendly and efficient staff. A bit noisy, but not enough to be bothering us. Can't wait to go again."

"Visiting from Florida with Co-worker from Italy. THe co-worker (speaks Italian & French) normally does not like "Italian/Pizzeria" in the Americas. My co worker was so impressed we went back a second time.
Food is excellent. Good portions, friendly staff. Very accomodating to the "American" that could speak no French.

"Service could have been better. Took a while before she came to us. After the food arrived, never checked on us until we were done.

"We went to Bottega with high expectations (so many say it's the best pizza in MTL). Well, they do not lie. If you like the traditional Napolitan pizza, thi is the best. Even better than the ones we had in Italy. Simple and good ingredients, not too many toppings, just the essentials. Very very good. We were also surprised by the prices. We expected to pay a high premuim, and no, the prices compared favorably to numerous other pizza places (the fancier places, not Pizza Hut). You also have to try some of their appetizers. Again, simple but very well executed. We were there on a Wednesday night a bit early. It was not too busy so noise level was perfect. It started filling up later (past 7) and noise level went up a notch. Still ok though."

"We were there for Valentine Dinner - my boyfriend has never been and he was blown away by the food especially, but as well the ambiance, music, decor everything! Our waitress was wonderful and very friendly - next to us an italian couple that know the taste of the real Napolitan pizza and they mentioned that is was about 80% close to the real thing.

"Sweetie and I have been twice, and both times have been splendid. The food is very fresh and very tasty. We had the mozzarella di bufala, the pasta of the day, the gnocchi, and two pizzas, including the margherita, and we were thrilled with everything. The tiramisu was also excellent. Great service, and the wine list features a lovely selection of reasonably priced bottles.
We will be going back."
