"I've always loved Piatti - however, my last meal was not as good. I ordered the lunch special - skewered tuna and scallops with red peppers and mushrooms. The tuna was well done and had nice flavor but overcooked. The scallops were a tad undercooked."

"Please understand, my wife and I have visited over 26 countries on 5 continents and have the opportunity to eat at some of the finest restaurants. We recently had a family dinner with our adult children. Great meal with good menu for all maturity of tastes. Service (Sal) was excellent. Little extra service items made the visit even more special. Food served promptly and hot. Not happy about house wine selection but economical. A little noisy for my taste and a bit crowded with little room around tables (perhaps a sign of success in this down-turned market). I would definitely go back!"

"We really enjoyed Piatte. We went for Denver Restaurant week which means it was crowded, but that was ok, we had a reservation. We decided not to order off the $52.80 menu, and our meals were delicious. We were surprised to find one of our favorite wines on their wine list. "My wife and I visited Piatti for the first time on Valentine's Day. We were very pleased by the service. Our waiter was attentive and helpful in describing the specials and making suggestions. The broth for my wife's pasta alla pescatore was excellent, and they didn't scrimp on the shrimp and other seafood. I ordered butternut squash, which was a little sweet for my liking (my wife liked it). Perhaps my favorite part of the meal was the goat cheese spread and flatbread appetizer, which just melted in your mouth. They also made me one of the best Manhattans I've ever tasted. The only snag (a very minor snag!) was that I wasn't in love with the room where we ate, which was tucked away in the back. Ask to be seated in the main dining room."

"Piatti's staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The food was good, but not great. My friend and I chose the 5280 menu, which only had a choice option with their entrees. We received caesar salad for the appetizer and tiramasu for the dessert. In my opinion, Piatti should have the dishes they are the best at on their 5280 menu. I would have lunch at Piatti, but not sure I would go back for dinner."

"I have been a Piatti diner since they opened and can only say that they just continue to get better. Low staff turnover has to be one of the reasons. It's like dining at friends...but none of my friends can cook like that!!

"We always enjoy eating at Piatti's whether it is for lunch or dinner. Finding a good restaurant for Sunday dinner isn't all that easy. Piatti's fits the bill. "Although the service was very good, our waiter did more than once take an extreme amount of time between visits to the table. On the other hand, we did stretch our meal out in length with no hint of our waiter wanting us to leave before we were ready - even though the restaurant was busy. That was much appreciated and reflected in the grautuity left. Have been to Piatti's before and will definately return."

"This was the first time I have been disappointed with a meal at Piatti. Our food took a long time to arrive from the kitchen, and both the tilapia and the vegetables in my tiapia entree were disappointingly greasy, and there was way too much sauce.. In the past, I'd ordered the tilapia and it ws lightly breaded ( in panko crumbs, I believe) and lightly sauteed, and the flavors were much more delicate. Additionally, the lunch prices have risen since the last time I had lunch at Piatti. Not normally a problem, but I was taking an international guest to lunch, and had a budget to stick to ( on the company account),so with the higher entree prices, we were not able to enjoy the fine wine selection. My guest enjoyed his chicken marainara."

"We had a special occasion reunion of sorts with a couple of good friends we hadn't seen in a while. Lively, fun place on a cold night, with very attentive, but patient, service (thanks Rachel!) as we did a lot of "catching up" before ordering. She was terrific...and then there's the great food. Presentation, fresh ingredients, very good. Definitely stays high on our list of favorite restaurants."
