Hemingway Restaurant & Bar is the newest hospitality innovation in Cedar Park. Hemingway Restaurant & Bar features a premium full bar, draft beers and a large wine selection as well as the very essence of regional Texas faire served in a uniquely central Texas décor. The design elements of the restaurant and private dining facilities blend harmoniously with the neighborhood architecture and lend themselves to inviting our guests to surrender themselves to the very best in Texas hospitality. Hemingway Restaurant & Bar is a great neighborhood restaurant open for dinner 6 days a week. Saturday and Sunday, brunch is served from 9am until 4pm. Happy Hour is daily from 4pm to 7pm featuring half price appetizers. You can grab a great meal well into the evening during the week and on the weekends! And yes, we have TVs and the patio is dog friendly! While we're not a "sports bar", we do feature the NFL Sunday Ticket (ALL the football games!) and the NBA Pass.
"I have really liked Hemingway in the past. This was our 5th visit and the food has gone downhill. Maybe it's just better when the manager is around? Our party got the chicken melt which had great potential but had way too much butter on it and the cook was sparse with the chicken. Had the ribs and half the rack was fat; big disappointment. The fish sandwich was just ok but wouldn't order again. The biggest disappointment was the burger. Usually, they are good but that wasn't the case this time. The bun seemed different b/c it fell apart and the egg that was added wasn't cooked right. I might give them another try but this visit made me feel like I wasted my money."

"With a dish like "Steak Stack ~ Chopped rib eye & tenderloin steak nestled in caramelized onion stacked with a sunny side up egg served with a potato pancake dressed with sour cream & green onion. " I expected chopped steak and instead got an overcooked hamburger patti with an egg on it. Not impressed.
Service was great though and buildout is nice for a little strip center bar. At least WRT breakfast, you might be better just getting Mimosas or other drinks."

"My wife and I we're looking forward to having a great dining experience close to home. We love to try new restaurants so we gave Hemingways a shot. We got there around 7 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was almost empty. Not a good sign if you ask me. Beer did not come in a chilled glass, strike 1! We ordered an appetizer and two Country Fried Steaks, pretty simple, right? Well we never got our appetizer! Strike 2! The salads were nice and cold, but the country fried steaks well mine was edible but had no taste at all! My wife's was inedible! Her steak looked like it was made with shake and bake then overcooked!! TERRIBLE! To top it off her baked potato tasted weird like it was frozen too long! Not GOOD! She did not eat her dinner."

"The waitstaff are great. The food was very good for the price. We could have done withou tthe waitstaff out on the patio smoking non stop. That wasn't very appealing to look at while we were having drinks before our dinner. With a little better ambiance and maybe some better marketing this could be a great place."

"We stopped in for brunch on a Saturday morning. The food was good and the service was outstanding. The bloody marys were watered down and disappointing. We would dine here again."

"When asked what the sides were the server pointed to them on the menu instead of telling me. My burger was very good, fries were just shy of being limp. My friend got the quesadilla and said it was very good. We were there for lunch and it wasn't at all crowded."

"The place has hard surfaces everywhere and it was a bit loud. When the server arrived she had a hard time hearing our orders which we had to repeat several time. I orderded the grilled pork with steamed brocolli and rosemary potatoes. I thought the food was quite good. My wife had the scallops with squash and carrots. The carrots looked they came from a can and were boiled. She was not impressed. I forget what my son had. Based on my wife and son's comments I'm saying the food was OK. Service was spotty with us running out of water and waiting around 30 minutes before our server checked with us to let us know that drinks were late or the food was coming. The place was alright but we probably won't return"

"I was very disappointed. When I arrived, the hostess had her back to the front door so I stood there until I finally spoke up. The food was blah. We ordered the meatloaf, the fettuccine Alfredo and the chicken, avocado & mango tower. Each dish was disappointing. No flavor - very bland. The wait staff was nice, but seemed uncoordinated. We were asked by 3 different staff members if we were ready to order a drink before we even had a chance to get settled and open the drink menu. I live in Cedar Park and was hopeful that this place would become one of my favs, but not unless the food gets much better. I doubt I'll go back despite its convenient location."
