We serve over 50 wines daily by the taste, glass, or carafe on our state-of-the-art Enomatic wine-dispensers. Beer lovers will find a nice selection of specialty brews. "The wine list is long, and had a lot of options we were not previously aware of. They have a cool setup of machinery to preserve the wines so they can keep 24 available bottles at a time. We enjoyed the wine options, and the food was good - but not great. The food we ordered had good taste, but the tastes within the dishes weren't always matched well. The stuffed figs were a little too dry, and the lettuce in the spring salad was turning brown at the edges - which when you're picky, matters. I probably wouldn't go again for dinner, but it's worth going for the wine options."

"Dinner consisted of just appetizers, went hungry after two dinners and a salad.
The Marriott sent us there supposedly withe a two for one discount. When we went to order they told us that the only way was to order two glasses of wine, well that raised the price to almost double. That was not in the description of the discount. We felt ripped off and still hungry afterward."

"It wasn't that bad but it took a long time to get our food and drinks that we ordered. There was a lot of wine dispensers around but nothing was explained to us. The food was ok. If you do go I would recommend sitting at the wine bar because they seemed to get faster service."

"What a fun place to go for a fantastic glass of wine and appetizers. While we did dine at dinner and realized the menu was more for appetizers than for a full dinner, we ended up ordering enough apps for the 4 of us to share to make a wonderful meal. The service was fantastic and the food was extremely good. We will definately go back next time we are in Tahoe."

"This is a hidden gem, tucked inside a strip mall. It is a tiny space -- 6 tables, max. Food is excellant and as this is primarily a wine shop and tasting bar, she has interesting wines available by the glass. No glitz, no glam, but interesting and delicious food."

"This is a neighborhood spot that is a wonderful place to relax with wine and homestyle cooking. The appetizers are all excellent, especially the stuffed figs and the polenta. While the entrees are fine, I actually like the appetizers more than the entrees. There is an extensive wine menu to go with the food. I recommend the tasting portions so you can get to taste a number of wines. This is a small place that really does feel like a home kitchen, so if it's crowded, the service can be slow -- but it's still friendly service. Instead of getting anxious, just relax and taste more wine!"

"My S/O and I were visiting Tahoe for the weekend and found Apres and made our reservation for a Sunday evening. When we arrived they told us they were doing something they called "Sunday Sippers" which was a wine tasting experience conducted by the owner, J.P. with wines he had selected for the occasion. I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed this time spent here. J.P. was very knowledgable and actually enjoyed conducting this tasting. He made it very interactive with the 8-10 individuals at the bar so 5 minutes in we were all relaxed and chatting it up like old friends. Great selection of wines. We had the stuffed figs and the cheese platter. Both were very fresh and tasty!! Definitely a regular stop whenever we are in Tahoe!!"
