Central Illinois premier fine dining establishment, we specialize in a fusion of French, Contemporary American and Asian Cuisine. Open 7 Days a week at 5:00pm we have been providing fine dining" With a Groove" since 1998. Our menu is ever changing and includes Filet Mignon, Sea Bass, Sushi and Chops. We have 121 different wines available with 57 of them by the glass. The best metropolitan cuisine right here on the west side of Springfield. We also have several private dining options for parties. "When looking for a restaurant with class and NO fried items in on the menu in Springfield IL, INDIGO fits the bill! Enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and service was excellent. Especially like the seafood and sushi variety. Recommended to us by our daughter and will recommend to other people. Thank you for an enjoyable meal."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants with my favorite dish- crab cakes. We went out to celebrate my birthday but things were off from the beginning. Apparently, there was confusion over who would be our server. They originally brought us the wrong appetizers- so we waited for it to be fixed. His morel dish (delicious) came at least five minutes before I received my appetizer. Then my sushi-tini was simply dropped off. The server did not even stop for a moment for me to point out that it was incorrect. It was later fixed. We then received our entrees with no errors but not much warmth from our server. Normally, the service is better and it put a damper on my birthday. But we will go back, simply because I just love the crab cakes."

"Decor is unique and fun. Service was good. Food was good with the exception of a bad piece of tuna served (fatty). Would recommend for a fun, up scale place with friends or family (but stay away from the tuna)."

"Usually I have great food at Indigo, but this time not so much. I ordered the filet and one friend ordered the NY strip, both were luke warm at best. I asked for mine to be prepared medium, it came out closer to rare. The strip was medium. Waitress must have gotten that mixed up. My second friend had the sea bass, it was hot and fresh. Our steaks must been ready before the sea bass. All in all not a "I'll never go back" but I will think twice about ordering beef."

"We had reservations at 8:30...we were seated at 9. We received drinks at 9:15. We ordered an appetizer... we received the wrong one 45 minutes after ordering it (9:45). We ordered salad... it came an hour and a half after we were seated (10:30). Instead of waiting another hour to receive our entree we ended up heading to the waitress station and asking for our bill, at which time the bartender asked if we would like it boxed up... Yes, great idea! Please box up our filet mignon, it will taste so great reheated in the microwave! The waitress was very nice and apologized for the service but this was beyond pathetic. For such expensive food they couldn't even afford to have a hostess for the night! For the love of God, don't waste your time!"

"We went on Valentine's day. Food was very good, service was so so. They were just overwhelmed I think. They had set up tables in their meeting room for the overflow. This caused our server to be overwhelmed....honestly she was doing the best she could. Ambiance was not nearly as good as in the main dining room. It is an excellent restaurant, not our first time, we will definitely go back!"

"We went to Indigo on one of the busiest nights - Valentines Day. However, that just happens to be our anniversary. Although the food was most excellent (especially the baked brie and the lobster bisque), the service impressed us most. On a busy night, the server let us enjoy each course without rushing us in order to turn the table. They made our night a special memory."

"I was pretty dissapointed in the service on valentines day. I understand that this is a busy time of year. we were seated 30 minutes late for our reservation which was at 8:30. we were seated at 9. there was a long bottle neck of people at the door with the same situation. There was no host to greet any of us for about 15 minutes. and when someone did come, they simply shouted at the group, "who's next?" The table next to us sat for and hour and 20 minutes with out receiving any service, and decided to leave. we waited one hour for our food. and had two confused waitresses at our table. one seemed very frustrated and cold and un sure of if she was waiting for our table. like i said, i know this is a busy time of year. but certainly there"

"We took a couple to dinner who were leaving town, and wanted to have a very nice final experience.
The service was extremely slow, and very few people were in the main dining room, although there may have been a large party in a side room which took attention away.
The Food itself was simply ok, and not up to par with the cost. Overall, this experience was not worth the $200 price tag. Previous experiences have been better."
