"Ekko de Brasil is a "must" dining experience that I strongly recommend. Everything about the restaurant is great. The service is the best. I've been twice and both times have had excellent service. The only thing is the food is so good it is difficult not to have a little of everything but it's simply too much for one sitting. But well worth it."

"This was the first time to EKKO for our monthly dinner club. What a great choice I made! Starting with the waitress explaining to all how the restaurant operates, all the way to the entertainment, it was fantastic. The selection at the buffet table and the wide variety of meats delivered to the table. The cooked pineapple with cinnamon and brown sugar was excellent. Had to go for a "man nap" afterwards.Overall the experience was impressive. Only drawback was that our table was right beside the stage, was very loud. EKKO is a definitely a "do again"!"

"My overall appreciation to my experience I would qualify as fair at best. The food was OK, the service was, well I'm not sure their was service at my table. They talk about more than 10 meat cuts, I'm not sure we got 5 during our entire stay. We got there at 7PM and left at 9:30PM. During that time, plates were replaced and that's about it. No water refill, very few meat sticks where presented to us and we had little variety.
In the meats that we did get, there was a lot of tough veins and fat, and the buffet was ... a buffet.
For 2 adults and 2 kids under 11, a 1/2 bottle of wine and 15% tip brought the bill to 190$. I know of a dozen+ restaurants that would give us much more for our money at that price.

"Fun restaurant to visit. Very different, as there is no menu. You have the hot and cold buffet, and then all the various kinds of meat cut at your table. Some of the beef was quite good, however other cuts were rather salty. The waitress for our table was super, very friendly and energetic. The "fair" review for service is due to the meat servers. Our cozy table to the side was frequently missed by the meat servers. We brought this to the attention of our waitress, and she made sure that the next meat made it to our table. However, when a different meat started circulating, it never made it to our table until our waitress stepped in again. Noticed a large table of 8 getting frequently served meat, sometimes 2 at a time."

"My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. We were lucky to be sitting in the bar area away from the large groups. The Goucho's who came round with the meat were great. We really weren't in a place to see the dancers however. Next time we will go with a group of friends."

"Service was great. We went at 7:00PM on a Sunday and by the time we finished eating, the restaurant was empty. The food was great, however we ended up eating the same thing frequently as they didn't change the meat they deliver to your table often enought. Overall, we a Groupon (drinks for two, bottle of wine, dinner for two, and two brazilian coffees for $80) its worth it."

"We have been to Ekko 6 times over the past year. This was our first time using a Groupon there and we were concerned that the service wouldn't be as good as usual. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised to have such a fantastic dining experience. The only thing missing was the Brazilian dancing. 7pm seems to be to optimal time for dining when making a reservation. The salad bar and meat carving is at its best around that time.
We will definitely be back!

"Everything was perfect untill we got the bill: they chrgad us taxes on the value of the Groupon we used(im making inquiries to know wether they were allowed to do this) and we didnt appreciate being charged $60 for a more than average wine bottle. We were reminded to give tip according to the true value of our meal: $300 for 4. A price we will never pay for what they offer. This place is worth it with a 50% Groupon only. The meats are very good but the side are very basic."

"Our reservation was for 9:00. Although our waitress was very kind and friendly our food was not so great. Many items were either missing or dry from the buffet table. The meats were mostly dry. I think it's cuz we had a later reservation. That should not mean we should be eating overlooked dry food. We paid lots of money (7 people) and were all quite disappointed by the quality. My husband and I had been to Ekko before and enjoyed our experience which is why we decided to take our family out for dinner. We will b going again. The pineapple and beef were lovely. The lamb, chicken and pork were extremely dry."

"$179 =well presented and cooked meats, but way too salty, cold sides (rice, etc) over-cooked colourless veggies, poor entertainment (brazilian experience that has dance to "Hit the road Jack") and poor table clearing service. "We had a Groupon deal - 80$ for 2 which ended up costs us about 100-110$ including tip and a 10$ fee (it was on a Saturday night - Groupon deals are not supposed to be valid on weekends). It included about 10 varieties of grilled meats, access to the buffet, an alcoholised drink, a bottle of wine (Argentinian - a good value but it only costs about 7-10$ at the LCBO / SAQ - I assume they get better prices on volume)and a specialty coffee. I would definitely not pay regular price (over 200$ easily for 2), which is too expensive for a buffet-style restaurant but grab this Groupon deal if you get a chance."

"I was very disapointed with my evening. First of all re the wine choice, I ask for white dry wine and I was told by the waiter that he only had two choices of white wine and both were sweet. Secondly, all the food was cold including the meat. It took like 20 minutes to get our brazilian coffee. I would not reommend this restautant to anyone."
