"If you're looking for a quiet, romantic restaurant with THE up and coming chef in the South, this is the spot for you! I suggest the duck wraps and the duck fat fries. After that, the menu changes seasonally, so I would check before going. They have an extensive wine and cocktail list, with some definitely unusual cocktails. Worth every penny, especially with the service that you will receive."

"Took my Mother out for Mothers Day brunch. The shrimp with the grits and the quiche were both tasty dishes. I do think its weird that they serve water with no ice. The service was just right. Would definitely go back."

"I brought my wife there for an early Mother's Day and I have to say I was really pleased with the entire staff that I met. Our waiter was very knowlagable of the menu. Needless to say I will be back and I have already recommended Cotton to several of my friends."

"Love, love, love this restaurant! My husband dined here for our 22nd anniversary and were made to feel very VIP. The chef greeted us at our table and even suggested his recommendations for the seafood that night. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and paired with the duck fat fries, well, lets just say I was in heaven. My husband had the scallops and they were equally as good. The ambience is great, would HIGHLY recommend it!"

"We have enjoyed Chef Bahr's food for many years. It's always top notch. Our only complaint was that some of our favorites from other restaurants where he was chef are no longer available. We had been told by friends that the service was slow, but this was not the case for us."

"We live in Bossier City, and were having family in for a visit from Missouri. Researched restaurants in the Monroe area and found Restaurant Cotton. After reading several positive reviews, we decided to make the 90 mile trek to Monroe. OH MY! SO glad we did. The food was AMAZING!....Being from the "North" we are not familiar with shrimp and grits, but I had heard they were fabulous, and I wasn't disappointed!...Bangers and Mash, and the Creme Brulee' Pudding was something you have to eat, no matter how full you might be. OUTSTANDING experience overall!....Will be taking more "Yankees" to Restaurant Cotton."

"Ths was our 3rd visit to Cotton's. We had the the Duck Wrap's for an appitizer on our first visit. I had the Shrimp & Grits and my husband had the Quial. The first vist was a real experience every bite of food was a great pleasure. The flavor were so pleasing and unique. The second meal was a quick lunch of red beans & rice again a pleasure. So we decided this is our favorite place to dine. Third visit March 2, I had Shrimp & Grits, my husband Quial again. We were both sad as his grits were lumpy and cold, dish not the same. My Grits were cold and I actually had some dry grits. I am sad to say I was expecting that wow factor in my mouth and it wasn't there this time. The Duck wraps were very hot, glaze not the same. Who was the Chef???"

"One of the best restaurants I've experienced, and I've been all around the world. The food is exceptional, setting off appreciative sighs of delight. The wait staff was engaged and excited about the food and "Chef" as they call him, and they did a terrific job of guiding us on our order. A real favorite whenever I am in or near Monroe, and I'd almost make the 8 hour trip just to eat there."

"Our family had an amazing time at Restaurant Cotton. We went for my husband's birthday and we will definitely be back! The staff from the hostess, waitress and servers were very helpful and friendly. Our waitress made the perfect suggestions to us and really helped to make it a special dinner for my husband. The food was incredible! We all ordered something different to try a variety and we were not disappointed. Chef Corey and his staff definitely know how to flavor the food and the presentations were gorgeous. We were not rushed and had time to enjoy our company along with the drinks and the food. We will be back very soon! We cannot wait to go for brunch!"
