Since opening in June of 2008, Sprigs' has been the recipient of many awards for fine dining, both local and regional. We are very pleased to be a recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for our wine list in 2009 and 2010. Most recently, Martha's herb and vegetable garden was honored by the Acton Garden Club for the Unique Culinary Garden.
"The food was average but the service was so bad that it's hard to comprehend. We were greeted very haphazardly by the owner, not really sure she heard us or even cared until she did come back to say they were getting our table ready. It took forever for the waitress to take our drink order, then for it to actually come and then the cocktail I ordered they didn't know how to make (it was on their specials menu). They brought it and it wasn't even close to what was described but I drank it to avoid the hassle. The worst part of the meal was that the decaf expresso I found out in short order that there's no way it could be decaf as I was up all night making for a super unpleasant Mother's Day. Wouldn't go back if someone paid me to."

"We went for my birthday dinner on Friday night. It was only our second time at the restaurant. Once again, the food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is very peaceful, great for a conversation, and never rushed. We'll be back soon!"

"Very nice return to Sprigs after not going there for a while. Menu has something for everyone. Loved the olive tapenade, homemade sherbet between the appetizer and entrees, the food was delicious and service was awesome. Very nice evening."

"Sprigs is an old favorite. Have been to all of its incarnations, from the time it was Chez Claude, through Maison Maison, to 5 Strawberry, and now Sprigs.
I think I can say hands down that Sprigs has take the restaurant to an entirely new level. The decor has been refreshed--although it has been done with subtlety and in keeping with it's charming farmhouse appeal, and the food is the best it's ever been. By far.
In fact, I would say that the food at Sprigs can now compete with more than a few of Boston's best. Highly recommended."

"The food was devine. It has been a very long time, since I've love every course. My husband & I had their clam chowder, squash ravioli, panko crusted cranberry goat cheese salad w/pecans, chicken under a brick and the apricot bread pudding. The meal starts off with complimentary bread that is warm and crusty on the outside/soft on the inside - served w/olive tapenade. The bread is amazing. They also serve an Intermezzo of sorbet prior to your entree."

"Wonderful gourmet dining. Our table had the rabbit loin, short ribs with wild mushroom ravioli and tournedos of beef. All three were delicious. One fabulous dessert is enough for the table. Restaurant was very accommodating to our last minute change in the number of diners. Both the lovely garden room and antique parlor make wonderful dining venues. It will be hard to choose between them in the future."

"This was our second dinner here and while I liked our first, my husband was only so-so. This time we both agreed it was fabulous!
We arrived early and each had a very good Manhattan at the bar. After a while, the hostess came over to us and told us that our table was ready, but she could see we were enjoying ourselves and there was no rush, out table would wait for us to finish our drinks, which we very much appreciated.
Once we were seated, the service was excellent, our dinners were delicious and the wine was superb. There was nothing not to like!"

"Our party was seated in the middle of the room, which may have contributed to the moderate noise level; however the age of our ears may have contributed to this as well. The food was very good, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We shared the chocolate molten cake - the perfect finish!"

"This is a place where you enjoy a meal that is both creative and delicious. Our waitress was name Jodi and she was exceptional, service and personality. We sat by the window in a nice table for two for a meal that was served a perfect pace. The tasty beet soup was a warm start on a cold winter evening, the rabbit (my wife's meal) was superb, and the short ribs and ravioli (my meal) were just right. The dessert was wonderful, peach ice cream with a bread pudding. We also enjoyed some very tasty glasses of a Pinot Noir. It is so nice having a place like this within 3 miles of our house.
Also, as we left I noticed the bar was full of diners as well. Many times, we come here and eat at the bar and that's always a pleasant and fun experience."

"Small quaint place. The owner was present and made sure everything was to our liking. The regular menu and specials were very good. I had the duck and another member had the lamb, both got very good ratings. I will definitely be back with my wife as this was a business meeting."
