Classic techniques with a new American twist. At Meat and Potato we use only quality fresh ingredients. Everything is made with love, from all of our steaks that are butchered in house, to sauces and salad dressings. Our menu features Braveheart Beef, known for their high standards in quailty and satisfaction.
"This restaurant changed it name to "Bridges" and menu with some of the previous specialties and some new items for versatility, it is now more than a steak house and well worth the visit, especially if you live in North Fulton; I hope our neighborhood will support this restaurant. Very nice dinner house feel, great food and drinks, the bartender has his specialties just ask! Service was great!"

"Great service by our own server and attention from other servers. This place is much more upscale than its name implies. We enjoyed all aspects of the dining experience there. They should have plenty of repeat business even though they are located in a very competitive dining business area with several other steak houses nearby."

"I'm not sure what the ownership situation is at Meat and Potato, but we have been to this restaurant many times in the past, but this time was different. The menu was different, and we were told that the name of the establishment was changing. The food, in our opinion, was not as good as in the past. Overall, we were a little disappointed."

"The name of this restaurant does not do the place any favors. The name might leave you with the impression that this is a basic kind of place when this is really a fine dining experience. Great wine, excellent bar and a wonderful menu will make for a memorable experience."

"This space has been several restaurants so I went in not expecting much. The food is wonderful. We ordered the roasted chicken with a cognac peppercorn sauce- you'll want a tub of it. I normally don't order chicken in restaurants but server recommended it and it delivered. We also ordered the beef stew which had a sherry reduction with intense, comforting flavor. Our party of 9 all loved their food. The service was very attentive."

"Great restaurant with deceiving name. Meat and Potato is not a good name for the restaurant, my wife didn't want to go because she thought it was a lower end restaurant but it was far from that. The staff was incredibly nice and professional. Food was excellent. I believe they are changing the name to Bridge Restaurant and Tavern or something like that. But we will definitely be returning regardless of the name."

"Was anxious to try Meat & Potato, but was disappointed. The restaurant and bar looks like a VERY upscale steakhouse similar to Fleming's. Went on a Friday evening with a group of friends (table of 7) and the place was nearly empty. The service was a bit overdone, raised our expectations. The food however was a letdown. I ordered the Ribeye at the waiter's recommendation. I regularly buy better cuts of meat at the grocery store. It was thin, dry and flavorless, and seemed lost on the huge plate. The sauce it came with helped. Side dishes and desserts were just average. The others in our party expressed similar reviews. Pasta dishes seemed warmed over. Desserts nearly frozen. Hope they can turn things around. Great location and decor."

"Seated upon arrival. Waiter was friendly, but did mention he was new and things might be slow. Ordered a bottle of wine, waited 35 minutes for wine to arrive at table. Had to track down manager to get the wine. We were told the wine would be complimentary because of the inconvience. When bill arrived the bottle of wine was on it..... Had to track down waiter several times to ask for items that should have been on the table or with the meal. The food was fair.... Poor experience on Valentines Day"

"We went on Valentines day and both my husband and I had the sea bass special over portabella mushroom ravioli. It was to die for!!! I told them they should have it on the menu every day, I would have licked the plate, but I actually had too much to eat and took the rest home, which made for a awesome lunch the next day. Anytime they have that special (I will call) we will be there. It was the best!!! They just need to change their name, it doesn't match the fine dining that they have. We've been there many times, and have always been happy. The service is the best anywhere."

"The food was good, it took a while for the food to be delivered I went on Valentine's Day. The pianist was a little over the top. But overall the food was good."
