"Aldo's is my wife'f favorite restaurant in San Antonio. It is mine too, because I see that it make her so happy to go there. The chicken marsala is fantastic, as is the cappelini ala firenze, and pretty much everything on the menu. They have great specials and an excellent wine list. The service is top notch. Aldo's is the best."

"This was our first time at Aldo's and it was excellent! We went for our anniversary and it was a great choice: delicious food (especially the stuffed veal) attentive service, and charming atmosphere. Aldo's is not extremely fancy, but you wouldn't be out of place on a date, either. We will definitely be back."

"This was not a "24" as rated by Zagat. Linquine with clams tasted like vinegar. Salad had enough dressing for three salads. Grilled quail was badly over salted. Not a restaurant that I would recommend or return to soon."

"Sitting in the porch area of the restaurant makes you feel comfortable like being at home but yet being spoiled by the surroundings and the service. The warm greeting by the owner and the service by the waitstaff makes Aldo's so inviting but the real star is the food. We took my brother and his wife, who is Italian and very particular regarding Italian cuisine and they RAVED about the food! That is the biggest recommendation you can get!!"
