"Upscale, big city dining in rural north Iowa! The menu has great variety and although would be considered pricey for this "neck of the woods" - everything tasted fantastic and was worth the price! Did not feel like we were in the middle of a smokey, loud casino once during our meal (thanks to the modern decor and quiet dining room)...too bad the experience ends as soon as you have to walk through the casino again to leave."

"We are motorhome owners and live in northern Minnesota so on our way to and back from the South and Southwest we enjoy stopping overnight and having a good dinner and a little gambling. We use Grand Casino Hinckley for the same reason so we frequently compare. The wait staff at Hinckley is more attentive (for example we had to find our waitress and request a bread basket which came after our appetizers and salad (which were served together). My steak was good but a more done than I would have liked and it was just warm...not sizzling hot. The wine list is overpriced and of just okay quality. For the price one would expect better wine. Sorry to be critical but your prices reflect a restaurant of high standards and quality. We will still stop"

"It was not clear that the teenager was not welcome because the restaurant was in the casino area.
The carrot cake was good, but not great. I don't enjoy crisco in an frosting, should have been cream cheese butter powered sugar."

"There are two things that keep me from giving the restaurant better ratings. The smoke smell from the Casino was noticable. We were seated further back and we still had smoke smell. The food was good but not for the price. I can find other places that provide the same high end food flavor but for 20% less money."

"Food was OK-above average. My wife enjoyed her filet. My steak, while medium rare as asked for on the inside, was charred and somewhat crunchy on the outside. The asparagus appeared to be undercooked. The wine list is very good as is the appetizer selection. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful but took a long time in between visits which left us waiting to order and waiting to pay our bill longer than what should be expected. Price was comparable to higher-end restaurants in the area.
Overall, for a casino restaurant, you probably won't do too much better. Recommended if you are planning on visiting the casino anyway and want a nice meal. If you are just looking for a similar upscale restaurant, try Crescendo in Albert Lea"
