"The tapas were good but salty. try the tuna melt & tuna sashimi. I was not impressive with the service. I took my bf to celebrate his bday and had written in my reservation to surprise him with a slice of cake. I spoke to someone when I first sat down and he said it wasn't a problem. After dinner, I spoke to the manager to confirm and he was super rude and asked if I had ordered the dessert already. Turns out that I had to pick from a selected chocolate brownie or cream brûlée. I picked the brownie and waited 15 mins before the waitress told me that the brownie was not made properly and that we were getting the cream brûlée instead. Not only was i not asked if the switch was ok, they charged us for it! It should've been COMPED!!!"

"Good experience. Portion sizes are very small. There were 5 of us and we got 7 dishes. We probably got 1 bite of each. We left dinner still feeling hungry... although that was our fault as we could have ordered more.
Waiter was good. We didn't take his menu suggestions to heart because he literally suggested everything on the menu. After our food came, they seemed to ignore us a little. We had to stand up and find one of the waiters to order another drink.
Overall, the food was excellent and their mussels were amazing. I would recommend this spot to other if they like seafood...but be prepared to order a lot of food to get your fill!"

"My two complaints were the Ceviche had very little fish, and the music was loud. I like I go to dinner to eat and socialize. If I wanted loud boring generic electronic music I'd go to a boring generic club. Wine list was nicely affordable and the service was good."

"It is gem - the ambiance is great for groups later in the evening but early evening 7 - 8:00 pm is perfect for romantic couples. The tapas especially the fish tacos were awesome - great flavour and spiced perfectly including the fresh vegetables. The french fries were nice and crispy but I wanted more aioli. I was not fond of the Oyster Rockerfeller or the Calamari were too battered for my liking which drowned out the flavour of the fish it was supposed to be enhancing. I enjoyed the selection of the wines offered with the tapas was amazingly well matched. I liked the offerings."

"I was totally disappointed with the quality of the food! It's a seafood restaurant - they should know how to properly prepare seafood. Octopus was mediocre at best, calamari was flavourless, fish had a soggy batter and the french fries were from frozen pre-cut potatoes. My friend found her macaroni and cheese inedible and lacking lobster. They ran out of the wine we ordered (is anyone taking inventory?). The seaweed salad was good. This place was crazy busy. I guess if you're in a trendy neighbourhood, you can serve anything and charge too much for it."

"I was really looking forward to my dining experience at fishbar but was sadly disappointed. While certain menu items impressed, the service was some of the worst I had ever had. I was there with six friends for my birthday dinner. Our bill had an automatic 18% gratuity which no one was informed of. I work as a server myself so I understand the auto grat, but in this case it felt to me like we were the most neglected table in the restaurant as the server knew she would still be getting a tip no matter how poor the service. Our dinner and drinks took forever, half the table was served before the other and the server was highly unprofessional. This was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had and I definitely won't be back."

"The food was quite gd, the only reason I only have it 3 stars was that I've had much better. Highlights we're the octopus and tuna tartar, although the tuna came with an excessive amount of very oily chips. I prefer seafood on the lighter side, I found the dishes quite heavy overall. Service was fine considering it was a busy night. Took a while to be greated at our table, which didn't bother me, but might bother an impatient person. Great decor and vibe, loved the music too."
