Mussel Bar & Grille at Revel is Chef Robert Wiedmaier’s first extension of the popular gastro-pub outside the Washington, DC metro area. Paying homage to Wiedmaier's roots, the inspiration draws from an old-world Belgian roadhouse serving Bière, Moules & Frites, and other continental favorites along with a Belgian centric beer list. Mussel Bar & Grille blends the comfort of a pub, live rock and roll, the energy of a sports bar, and commitment to culinary excellence to raise "eating at the bar" to a whole new level. "Yeh I know they have a complete menu, but we have yet to make it past the Mussels and frites. Both outstanding. This time we had 2 orders of Mediterranean, plus 1 order of both the Gruyere' and classic White Wine. Each order would be plenty to share for two, but we were hungry! Great selection of beer to go with the mussels. Love this place."

"When one hears so much about Amada and American Cut inside the Revel casino, you may not have heard of the Mussel Bar. Too bad. It's every bit as good as the others. Terrific food, attentive service and a cool looking place to enjoy the meal.
Listen to the server on mussel suggestions and be adventurous with your beer selections and you will have a great dining experience.

"One of our favorite spots, always delivers great food and great service in a lovely room. The new menu offers a dazzling array of new dishes, and, they are all delicious. "Had reservations but were seated outside the restaurant'. There were many free tables inside. Told by a rude hostess that they had big parties coming that night. Almost left but decided to stay. Extensive beer and wine menu but high priced. Ordered mussels and Ceasar salad and another ordered the Beef short ribs. Salad was OK nothing great over dressed. Ordered the Pepper pot soup very good but overpriced at 15.00. Mussels were very good and the short ribs were very good. Being out side of the restaurant was horrible. Noisy,loud and unattended. There are too many excellent places in AC that beat this one out."

"As the beer list was huge and unfamiliar our waiter brought over a wine and beer specialist working there who asked a few simple questions about what beers i normally drink. He also convinced my wife to try one who never drinks beer but likes white wine. He selected two different beers for us that we both really enjoyed! When it came to the food my wife loves mussels and chose them in a white wine and garlic sauce which is her favorite. I chose the pan seared chicken breast as I am not a huge mussels fan. I found it nice to have a choice other than mussels. My wife said although they were not the best mussels she has ever had they were very very good. Overall the food was delicious and the service was excellent. !"

"Waiting very long for food to arrive. The only dish that was hot were the mussels, understandably. Those of our party who ordered the mussels were raving about them, but my scallops were cold when they finally were brought out. Dull atmosphere on a Sunday night."

"Inattentive sevice and good food outweigh eachother. Also, the name-sake dish, mussels, was a little disappointing. There was good flavor but the mussels were not plump and juicy. However, do try the pork-belly appetizer and ceasar salad; they were delisciuos. Don't plan to have a quiet conversation because the music is very loud."

"This is a must for every visit I have to Atlantic City. Never a disappointment. Starting with the bread and amazing Caesar Salad, to the mussels and crab cakes for those I dine with. But I always get the salmon. I'm not sure what it is that they do different from anywhere else, but it is the best I have ever had, no matter how they change up the way it is served on the menu. You can't go wrong with the Mussel Bar. They also have an extensive beer and wine list. I have never been able to have dessert there because the portions are so large and I can't eat another thing, but if the rest of the food is an indication, I'm sure it's amazing as well."

"We are regulars and try to get in whenever possible. VERY GUEST FRIENDLY. It is great to be remembered at one of your favorite places. The food is terrific, every dish, every time. Very creative entrees , presented well and always prepared to taste. Of course the mussels are fabulous, just what I am used to as an Italian, as are the myriad of other dishes. Tried the pepper pot soup this time, just fabulous and a meal in itself. Try Mussl Bar once and you shall be a regular."

"WOW. Just WOW. The food was amazing! I had the biscuits and gravy-- came with white gravy and sausage. It was so good with just a hint of cloves. Interesting because that is a taste which is rare to come by...and it worked! Mussel Bar & Grille has by far the best Bloody Mary I have ever had. I had the bacon infused Bloody Mary and my brother had the chili infused. They even accommodated for a friend who wanted a virgin Bloody Mary. They give you a mason jar with the infused liquid/alcohol and then you mix your Bloody Mary at the Bloody Mary bar. If you go to Revel this is a MUST try!"

"I went to Mussel's with a group of 8 and everyone in the party loved their food. I ordered the mussels in Thai sauce, which was delicious. They give you a generous helping and the sauce was very tasty. I also sampled the pizza appetizer which had lots of flavor, and the Kobe beef burger which was really tender. The atmosphere is upscale, without being stuffy and the service was attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The prices are on the high end, but here you get what you pay for."

"Last minute reservation, had high expectations and they were all exceeded. Your custom beer from Belgium was awesome ( pricey ) Chemay cheese was something I have wanted to try. Alll the entries were perfect. Scallops were fresh and had an awesome taste of the sea, complimented by a wonderful cauliflower purée. Tune steak was better than the one I have had over at the Borgata. My Kobi burger was amazing. Every bite was enjoyed. Our server and her support were fantastic. I will certainly be back! "We are regulars here as every experience has been very good. The staff tend to recognize repeat guests and this adds to what is always a lovely evening. The room is attractive usually full on the weekends but the restaurant is managed well and has never been overbooked in our experience. The food is very good and while the menu is not extensive there are always specials to complement the standard entries, which are anything but ordinary. Lunch is a great experience also at Mussel Bar, where the signature dishes are always available and delicious. We look forward to many more return engagements"

"Belgian tart appetizers and mussels were terrific. However despite having plenty of servers on staff, our service was slow and lacked the smooth operations you would expect at a resort like Revel. Utensils were missing, several wines on wine list were not in stock, our server disappeared for long periods of time and drinks took forever to arrive. Nonetheless, the food was terrific and I may just return, though I'll have to bring my patience."

"this was our second visit to the Mussel Bar and this was just as good. the only thing that was defiinitly different was the mussels. this time they seemed a lot smaller in size and just didnt taste as good as our first visit. our server recommended the flat breads and they were very good. As much as i love the mussels i think the best part of the resturant is the beer menu."

"Exceptional mussel entree! Howeverk, even though restaurant was not busy, had to wait an unacceptable time to place my order, get water (requested three times from 2 wait staff), yet the entree arrived within minutes of getting the cocktail. Waited for the "freshly baked bread" which didn't arrive until I was almost finished my entree. Timing was completely off. Because the mussels were SO good, I'll give it another try in hopes that the service will improve."

"The food was outstanding. The tarts excellent and the mussells were the best we ever had. My husband had the short ribs and said they were fabulous. our waiter and the rest of the staff were also great. he was so infomative and alsways came back to see if we needed anything else."

"Always a pleasure to visit Mussel Bar and I think you will agree. The room is quite attractive and the venue holds a lot of people and sells out most nights. They manage their reservations very well and you may expect to be seated in time. The service is now the equal of any restaurant in Revel and the prices are quite competitive, a good value indeed. Did I mention the food ? You shall love everything on the menu , the mussels are of course superb and so is everything else. Try it, you shall be impressed and then you will be a regular."
