"It was really cool to make an on-line reservation and it worked. The greeter had my name and the time we wanted to be seated. We waited 2 or 3 minutes and then were seated at a table. Awesome, exactly what I wanted for Mother's Day Dinner. That was the highlight of the evening, we ordered wine and a margarita and a coke. We we ordered dinner. We waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Honestly, disappointed. For the cost, over $120.00 for three of us, I expected better service. We have friends visiting from Denver, were planning to return to Stanford's because of the quality of the food and service. We will not bring our friends to Stanford's for dinner because of the wait for delivery of our meal. Just disappointed."

"We always choose Stanford's for special occassions and happy hour. This time was for Mother's Day Brunch and the biggest draw was the fact it wasn't a buffet! The meals were fantastic as usual and the staff was so attentive to everyone in our party! We love Stanfords!!"

"Their salmon salad has been my favorite all these years. Otherwise they have a good selection and choice. Great for that business lunch or dinner. Or a family outing. Miss the gift cards they used to sell at Costco though."

"Everyone but one person and me at our table ordered Sirloin Steaks and seemed to enjoy them. One steak was supposed to be cooked medium rare and was definitely well done, but the person eating it didn't seem to mind. I ordered the Cabernet Tenderloin Tips and the sauce on it was delicious, as were the mushrooms and the mashed potatoes. However, the meat was pretty much inedible. It was so chewy and tough that I had to spit out almost every bite. It was terrible. I was very disappointed. It was bad enough that I think I won't return to Stanford's."

"All of the people who we had contact with were cheerful and friendly, from the girl cleaning the woodwork and glass in the entry (must have hostess greeter) to our server, all were extending and genuinely seemed glad to see us. The server was very at tentative. Drinks were never empty."

"We love Stanford's! The only complaint is the music. It's way to loud for a beautiful venue such as Stanford's where people come to relax and enjoy their friends and family. The music was way to upbeat and rather frenetic for conversation. We noticed it was really bad on Friday March 15, but not as bad on March 19. Manager's taste maybe? Friday it was very distracting."

"We came for a baby shower lunch. They found us a table that was somewhat secluded in an area with other groups. This worked well for us to be able to talk. The server was fantastic. They kept our ice cream cake frozen while we had lunch, and brought us dessert plates, a knife and forks when we were ready for it. The food was excellent. It was a busy St. Patrick's Day so it took more time to get our food. I would visit again as it was overall a great venue for us."

"In our experience we know know we can come to Stanfords and have a conversation with friends without screaming. We appreciate the moderate noise level, the subdued light, and last but not least the good food. We had pork medallians and they were outstanding. Our server was prompt, helpful and friendly."

"Like that I can make a reservation on line. Everyone liked what they ordered except for me. I had a Dover sole entree. The rice and vegies were good but the sole had a spice in the coating I did not care for so only ate a couple bites. When the waitress took my plate she did not even ask why all the fish was left."

I then responded with my thanks and delight that he would pick up the phone to tell me he would look into our issue. "Our group had mixed reviews on the food...some were Great! ...some were really good...but mine was a little dry. The service was good. The muxic too loud. I couldn't hear the people at the end of the table...and I was in the middle. While I am 'older' (60) I believe this should be taken into account ... or you will only draw a younger crowd. :)"

"Alexis was very attentive and staff freindly, the burger was good but for 13.00 it sat on a large plate and looked very small, suggestion is to serve open faced with garnish to make the plate look fuller. The fish tacos wers good but I would not add so much slaw but maybe in a small dish on the side. Thanks and I hope these suggestions are positive and constructive.
