"My husband had the burger. It is good. My son had the rockfish and the waitress said it was an huge serving. It was very, very small. He complained and they brought out another very small serving. I had fish tacos which had plenty of fish, but it did not taste very fresh."

"We went there as a group. The way the restaurant organized into small compartments helped to provide some privacy yet enough seatings. I like that. All the food we ordered was good. All the seafood was fresh -- which is very important, and cooked and seasoned properly. The food portion is decent. Well worth the money especially the lunch menu.

"Had a party of 11 on Mother's Day and mistakenly had food off of a special Mother's Day menu. The food was bad. I assume its due to the fact that this is not a normal menu items. Too bad because it was our first time here. Left a bad taste in my mouth."

"Took my mother to Portland Seafood Co for Mother's Day. The brunch menu was a let-down, but we ordered off the lunch menu and had excellent food. Service was quick and responsive (kept our strawberry lemonade glasses full!). We will return. (The $15 gift card for Moms was a nice surprise!)"

"The service was terrible, there was no attention to what anyone ordered, so the server didn't know who got what when the food arrived. The bread was brought before the meal, but no plates to put them on, one of the kids order was wrong and a very long time was taken to correct it with no "I'm so sorry". The place was not that busy, but the employees seemed to all really be struggling."

"The first order of calamari that we received was like chewing rubber bands! The second batch was not much better but it was on the house for the trouble.

"The server was not at the top of his game. When we ordered the chowder he neglected to tell us that they mixed the oyster crackers in the chowder instead of serving them on the side. When I questioned him about it, saying I did not like oyster crackers, he stated, "That is how we make it" leading me to believe that I had no choice. When I reiterated that I did not like the crackers he said, "How about if I bring you a bowl without them?" He did not bring extra plates so that we could share our salads as I requested. He also noticed my eat, drink, earn card and gift card sitting on the table as I waited for the check and he started to take them and stated he would take care of the check. I said that I would like to see the check first."

"A wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was great! I had the sirloin medallions with crabcakes special. My steak was cook perfectly and the crabcakes were absolutely delicious! Furthermore, the management strives to make your experience a good one. I recommend it!"

"I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant, as I knew it as the former Newport Bay.
I really liked the coconut prawns with the yummy dipping sauce. And the caesar salad with the optional grilled salmon, was very good. We will certainly return."

"Was excited to try this after hearing great reviews from friends. We did go to Washington Square vs. the Mall 205 where possibly management is better in scheduling for Sunday lunch service. This is nothing like a Joe's Crab Shack ... more like a Red Lobster. The server attempted to provide us his best service with a smile but you could tell he was strained from servicing 5 other tables and not being on his game that day. Food was okay, heavily salted crab pot (old bay seasoning version), bread was delicious but had to ask twice to have it replaced, we had several refillable drinks that were only refilled once when they should'e been at least twice for the amount of time we sat and waited for our meal. Not sure I'll return."

"We arrived at 11:50 for our 12:00 reservation. There was no one at the front to take our reservation so we waited. During our 15 minute wait three different employees saw us standing at the front so we assumed that it would not be long until someone came up front to take us to a table. We stood there for another 10 minutes and decided to walk to the bar area towards the back of the restaurant to see if anyone was back there. There was no one at the bar. We sat down at the bar and a woman came out and said "hi" and then walked past us and out the side door. She was soon followed by another employee who did not acknowledge our presence at all. After a 25 minute wait we grew tired of being ignored and left highly disappointed."
