"Service was excellent. very vibrant cuisine. I had the salmon which was crispy on the outside and moist inside. Being from the South, was surprised how fresh the shrimp tasted. Beautiful scenic mountaintop views. Understated elegance. Would highly recommend.

"Uneven food. Apps were very good, entrees also, but carrots with both entrees were ice cold. Desserts mediocre. Service was great. Waiter was very responsive to all requests including bringing us a plate of hot carrots (served hot they were very good). Great food value fo New Mexico residents, $34 fied price-anything on menu."

"I think the chef took the night off. If was the last night of Santa Fe restaurant week and we were one of only a few groups seated in the bar. Completely uninspired cuisine. Under seasoned and visually unappealling. Specifically the crab cake flavor got lost in the chowder, the vegetable entree was under seasoned and the pork medley was swimming in a flavorless brown liquid with equally bland kale. It had chorizo in the description but was hard pressed to find any. Was definitely not worth the upper end charge for restaurant week. It was a shame, the lodge is beautiful and we had high hopes after reading previous reviews and the Chet's résumé."

"My husband and I are Santa Fe locals. We dined at Las Fuentes Restaurant in February 2013. The food was outstanding! We had, Monk's Ale And Green Chile Cheddar Soup, New Mexico Corn Meal Crab Cake, Pan Roasted New Mexico Beef Tenderloin, Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops, Bishop’s Apple Barrel, and Chocolate with Almonds. Not one complaint on flavor. The service was a bit off. We consistently got each other's choices for courses, and another table's wine order."

"one loud table near us....only one waiter....he was a bit pressed....brought us the order for another table....took forever to get a simple glass of wine....finally got up and went to the bar and got it myself....manager was very nice and spent a great deal of time with us answering our questions....this all occurred during restaurant week in santé fe....so menu was a bit limited....but very good...."

"We had such high expectations...and were so disappointed. The level of service was significantly below that of an iHOP. I waited 10 minutes for a coffee or water refill - and then the coffee was placed in front of my husband - a non-coffee drinker. Plate removal was slow - we even saw other patrons bussing their own tables.

Food is typical of a large bruch buffet - large selection of somewaht above ordinary options. However, if you can't get good oysters (and clearly they couldn't) - don't serve any at all.

All in all - I would not recommend this restaurant...and with such a bad experience - I would never stay at the resort."
