One of Charleston's best hibachi steakhouse for over 10 years! We have been entertaining with tricks on the grill to the birthday dances performed. Our sushi is cut to order and artfully presented. Enjoy our friendly- family atmosphere where you can enjoy the accommodations of a full service restaurant. It's always show time @ Yokoso. Now under new management!
"The food is always good(I'm partial to the steak & chicken)...waitstaff is good as well and attentive. I've been many times and will continue to enjoy."

"First off....the restaurant canceled my reservation after I had checked in and was waiting for a table. I am guessing its because they didn't want to pay the fee to Open Table for the reservation. When I brought this to the Hostesses attention, she looked as if she had just been "busted".The restaurant service was mediocre, but the Filet Mignon was really good and tender. I have been to a few of these types of these restaurants and the chef was OK, but not the best. All in all, it was good....just nothing special. I do wish they had an "Adults Only" table or tables....nothing ruins a $40.00 meal quicker than someone else's 3 year old sitting next to you that wont shut up."

"My sister and I visited yokoso for her birthday dinner. Our chef did very little tricks, but made up for it with his winning personality. . He engaged.everyone in conversation and kept us laughing the entire time. They provided a specific birthday song for my sister and even took a beautiful picture of us together. The food and saki was awesome. We will visit again in the near.future."

"Overall it was a good experience. We had a large group of 20 and it was difficult to get the waiters corrdinated. I asked for shot glasses for our whole group but he only brought enough for his side so we weren't able to all toast together and one side finished sooner but we still had a good time."

"I was here with my daughter on Valentines Day which is not a good day to review a restaurant. However, I have eaten here in the Sushi Bar on several occasions and the food was always good and service very nice. On Valentines Day it was crushed and we ended up at a Hibachi grille even thought we only wanted sushi. Well we got our sushi and watched one of the chefs do his dog and pony show at the grille. It was a little awkward but fun none the less. I would recommend Yokoso for either the dinner show or the sushi bar."

"I went to Yokoso for primarily for sushi. It was decent. I don't have anything negative to say about the food other than the portion of spring rolls was small. Most establishments will give four rolls whereas Yokoso gave two cut into halves.
One of the sushi chefs was rather rude. Being my first time at Yokoso, I asked the sushi chef if they served cooked sushi. He says something in Japanese and the other chef laughed. Needless to say, that didn't sit well with me and as a result I may not return. There are other sushi bars in the city where I can get my questions answered ..in English without snarkiness. Laugh at that. Shame because that was my only complaint."

"Yokoso - a great Benihana-like experience with food cooked on a grile in front of you, but much less expensive. The food is good, and the cooks are very entertaining."
