"really good food and low cost. and being BYO, it can't be beat. servers are baristas turned waiters/waitresses so could use a little lesson. did nothing wrong, just could be more attentive. this place is also great for groups!"

"We loved La Va. Found it online, weren't sure it looked new. Server was attentive and friendly and made good suggestions. The food was excellent - got the burekas, chicken kabobs and then the peanut butter bomb. I was happy because the food was light but filling so I didn't feel stuffed when I left."

"We went to La.Va at 9:00 pm on a Sat nite. The restaurant was virtually empty, and it was blessedly quiet. The sole waitress (usually she has a partner) was pulling lattes and waiting tables at the same time. She did it with grace and attentiveness and never made us feel rushed or neglected. The food is simple, Middle Eastern and good. Our meal was satisfying, and since we live in the neighborhood, very convenient."
