"This was our first visit to this restaurant. We had been seated for at least an hour before our main courses came out. We noticed that at other tables, with 6-10 people, the main courses came out piecemeal. The food was good, but unfortunately not as hot as it should have been. Our server seemed somewhat harried, and when we questioned her she told us there was a party of 40 people in a private room (this was Mothers Day). Obviously the kitchen had a problem keeping up with this. We felt that a manager should have discussed this situation with us without our questioning it, and perhaps offered us something like an appetizer to make up for the long wait. As it was, we just sat there ignored and unknowing until we asked what was going on."

"We went for Mother's Day dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the gourmet food. The taste, quality and presentation were all delicious. The salmon was juicy sitting on pesto! The meatballs with pasta ( we substituted spinach for the pasta) were so good I am craving them. It's an old family recipe! The flatbread and salads were also great! Definitely go next time you want Italian!!"

"After calling in advance of Mother's Day to hear menu, they told me after arriving, "not available !"
If I could give this restaurant NO stars it would be appropriate. The waitress/hostess argued with the manager about seating us upon arrival and then it just got WORSE from there until we left, on Mothers Day with NO where to go.

I can only mention 1 thing.........When you are a party of 6 or more the gratutity is added to the check. Unfortunately the waitress did not mention that and had to redue the bill as we added the gratutity and then noticed it already on the bill. Other than that it was excellent."

"Very enjoyable dinner. Would come back during the week for casual dining with my teenagers as well as on the weekend for a fun night with friends. The food was very very good. Something for everyone from pizza and salad to delicious fish and pastas. Love the bean dip puree with the bread and the roasted chick peas. I hope this place lasts. Staff was very friendly. "Rosso is adjacent to the Wyndham Hotel in a spot that has turned over many times. I hope this one makes, it is definitely a keeper. I've had 2 lunches and 2 dinners; the food keeps getting better! Most recently went for dinner with 3 others, one of Italian heritage. He was VERY impressed with his mountain of Spaghetti bolognese. Even he couldn't finish the serving and quickly said it was going home for lunch the next day, specials sounded great but were a little pricy. Two if us shared one, glazed short ribs atop creamy cheese polenta. The serving was good for two, but so good I could have eaten the whole thing. Especially the polenta! The beet salad is not to be missed! Dessert was very good. Thursday nites feature pizza specials."

"I found the restaurant very expensive considering the very ordinary quality of the food and the ambiance and noise of the place. One of our party ordered a salmon dish and the kitchen prepared something entirely different. He sat while everyone else ate dinner for about 10 minutes until his dinner came out."

"Always cautious about restaurants in hotels, but this was a pleasant surprise. Service was good, bread brought to table with fried chick peas were great. Appetizer (artichoke) was disappointing, and when we told the water, it was quickly replaced with our replacement choice. Entrees were good (chicken parmesan) and a meat dish with brocolli rabe (a bit salty for my taste). Dessert was good, cappucino nice and hot."

"Unfortunately, our experience was not good. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The waiter took our order at 8 p.m. and we received our appetizers 1 hour later and then our main course at 10:15 p.m. The restaurant was not too busy, but the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing.
On top of that, when we asked to speak to the manager, he was busy and never came to our table or apologized. The waiter said that it was a "bad night".
I would recommend not trying this restaurant."

"Rosso has been so many different restaurants it's hard to keep track. I hope Rosso is successful here. Upon being seated we were greeted by bread, hummus and fried chick peas. The chick peas are wonderful and worth coming for by themselves! My friend and I shared a beet salad which was terrific, enought by itself for a light lunch. We both had pizza, both were excellent. Thursday night is pizza night and all pizzas are $8.00. We shared tiramisu for dessert. It was quite good and had obviously been made in- house. We really liked bing there and will be back again soon. Service was also very good, with our server being attentive but not cloying."
