BEVO Bar + Pizzeria is a lively Old Montreal eatery and bar, which captures the bustling spirit of the neighbourhood and offers a convivial meeting spot for locals and visitors alike. "There was a bridal shower at a table nearby and the ladies were very loud. Conversation was difficult because of the noise..

"We had an amazing evening at Bevo on Feiday for the kick off of our Bachelorette weekend! The staff was amazing and treated us well knowing we were having a Bacherlorette dinner. Our server Ben was also amazing and took good care of us! Will always go back and recommend this to everyone!"

"A really loud and energetic spot, definitely not for a romantic dinner. Good for a group of 5 to 8 people, anything more you won't really get to talk much. Our waiter was fabulous, however we have been here before where the service was less than mediocre. The host that greets you isn't the most accommodating either. However I LOVE the music will be back."

"Around the corner from our hotel -- there was a private party where we had planned to eat, so we wandered in here. Pizza is delicious. Waitress was efficient and very pleasant. It is a bit of a "scene" and we are on the older side, but still really enjoyed the meal."

"Loved the ambiance, chic yet uncomplicated. Service was great, everyone is smiling from the moment you walk in the door. All servers, hostesses, managers even pizza guys were all nice, helpful and attentive to the customers. Food is delicious, nicely portionned and so fresh. Italian food at it's best, items you won't find in every typical italaian restaurant. Overall a fantastic night out with the girls and planning on going back very soon, can't wait to see the terasse atmosphere this summer.So don't hesitate to try this place out, you won't be dissapointed!"

"The interior decor was interesting and energetic. The menu is interesting and you can add/remove toppings from the pizza order.
A little disappointed that the waiter took some time before taking our order. But I can understand that this can happen on a busy night.
What was really disappointing was that the Margherita pizza was not hot at all when it arrived. As though it had been sitting out of the oven for some time. If I wanted room temperature pizza I would have stayed home."

"The food was good, the ambiance was nice but we were told by our hostess that we had the table for one hour. Our waitress rushed us through the meal and cleared the table while I was still eating. There were open tables so it didn't seem me necessary . It was stressful ."

"I herd about Bevo my friends who had been there before me. I had to go check it out for myself. I went with my boyfriend for a nice dinner before a concert. The atmosphere was very nice, welcoming, and a great decor inside and out. The location was just beautiful in the old port. I remember passing by in the summer, and their terrace looked amazing. I'll have to go back this summer that's for sure. All the servers seemed very friendly,which created a great service. The music was appropriate for the type of restaurant, not too loud, and not too quiet. Just perfect. The best part was watching the Pizza being made in the wood oven. I suggest getting the Nutella Pizza. Just amazing! 10/10 for everything."

"Our table was ready as soon as we got there. The staff was friendly and patient. Our food came pretty fast and so did our drinks. The arancini were great and the pizza was well cooked and tasty. The ambiance was nice. Music wasn't too loud so we were able to hear each other clearly. Great restaurant! Only trouble is finiding parking in the old port."

"I went to BEVO for dinner and it was amazing!! Food was delicious, we had really great suggestion from our waiter who was so nice and friendly! The most enjoyable thing was that all the staff took good care off us, the hostess, waiters, the bossboy and even the chef who bring us our desert!!Have you seen this before?? I didn't!!

"This has become a must for my husband and I when we travel to Montreal. This time we came with some family members and had such an awesome dining experience. We decided to order a few pizzas to share: Giardino, Bosco in Biano, and Salame. No one had a complaint- we enjoyed them all! I love the bit of spice to the Salame pizza and the uniqueness of the Bosco in Bianco. I had also ordered the Petto di Pollo and I ended up sharing it with everyone- the chicken was nice and juicy and vegetables were crisp. Also, don't forget to check-in via FourSquare for free shooters which are such a nice touch- love this place! Can't wait to visit again whenever we find ourselves in Montreal again!"

"That was my second visit at Bevo. At first I came during summer and i ate on the terasse, enjoying the Old port animation. This second visit was completly different during winter, but we definetly had a great time. The ambiance was great inside with the DJ and we had an excellent service. I recommand to try the seafood salad as an apetizer; the best I ever had. And the apple, caramel cheesecake; absolutly incredible!"

"Hi there. I was in fro the weekend from Toronto with some friends. I had booked Bevo Bar on line for an 8.pm reservation on saturday March 16th. In the reservation I had put a note that we were there to celebrate a birthday within our group. Upon arrival at the restaurant I was very upset to hear that we would need to leave the restaurant by 10.00pm. When I asked why I was told that they had booked another party and would need our table for a 10.30pm reservation. I told the gentleman that it was my friends birthday and he said that it didn't matter. At this point, I was very annoyed and asked what if we were not finished our meal? He said "too bad, we need the table by 10.pm". Not Impressed at all."

"It was really dissapointing...The pizza was essentially cooked cheese on top of bread (no sauce). The meat was not cooked along with the pizza, it was simply chucked on top of it once it exited the oven, resulting in the toppings falling everywhere.
The tomato sauce on the pasta was bland, very generic. The 13 dollar calamari tasted like pieces of batter.
On top of everything, no bread or water was offered. Waste of 100 bucks. Nice ambiance though and fabulous bar, which is great because you need to drink to forget about the food."

"from the moment we made our reservation and throughout our dinner we were hassled that we only had the table for a limited time as there was a reservation waiting for our table. we felt rushed throughout. the manager was very patronizing when we mentioned it to him. not to mention the food was mediocre. dont recommend and would not go back."

"Bevo Bar and Pizzaria’s location in the Old Port is excellent and its interior and ambiance impressive. The service is good, though not polished.
The food was disappointing and, I would even go as far as to say, substandard.
Upon our arrival, we were offered a 23$ special fixed-price menu along with their regular menu. Once we read the items and descriptions offered on the special fixed-price menu our initial idea of ordering from their regular menu was derailed. This was a mistake; a vast majority of the food on our plates tasted as if they had been prepared in advance. "Merveilleusement bonne la pizza ! Craquante, souple, gouteuse on en re-demande! La charcuterie ne nous a pas laissé indifférent non plus. L'hôtesse à voulu nous installer dans la salle du haut, nous avons demandé d'être installé en bas. Ce qui à été fait sans problème, pourtant la soirée était très occupé. "Nous étions 4 à y aller dans le cadre du Happening gourmand. La soirée a très mal commencé lorsqu'on nous a placé à une table à côté du porte-manteau. Une d'entre nous devait se lever à chaque fois que quelqu'un voulait son manteau. Je ne sais pas pourquoi ils ont même pensé assoir des gens là! Ensuite nous avons été changé 2 autres fois de tables. Très ennuyant. Nous avons heureusement eu un serveur sympathique qui nous a même offert un shooter en guise de dédommagement. Le reste de la soirée s'est bien déroulé et la nourriture était somme toute bien. Le rapport qualité prix était bien en fonction du happening gourmand mais je ne crois pas y retourner au prix régulier.

"I was there for the Happening Gourmand. Ordered the bean soup (spelled been soup) with pork hock but did not see much of the hock. For the main, I ordered the Marlin. I love Marlin done with a sear and slightly rare or even less. I was not asked so I got what the chef made me, which was rare to medium-rare. Tasted good but definitely not eye rolled to the back of my head good. The sides were great. I love crunchy vegetables and it was done exactly so. That was my side of the story. As for my fiance, she did enjoy the portabello mushroom appetizer she had but did not like the veal main which was extremely thin and super dry and super bitter veggies. Should have ordered pizza at a pizza joint, my mistake."
