"The steaks are a bit pricey but the flavors were amazing and if you're unsure as the sides to get, I recommend the sweet potato casserole and the cream spinach; they're absolutely delightful."

"Six of us dined for the first time at Red's. We all had steaks and they were cooked to our specifications. The sides were tasty 3 sides served the 6 of us. We shared salads and they were divided in the kitchen and plated very nicely. One member was celebrating a birthday and she received a complimentary dessert which we all enjoyed. Would definitelyt come back for a special occasion."

"Not your pretentious steakhouse and the quality of those same steak houses. We were there early so my noise rating was two-fold. We were the first in the place and the bartenders/waitstaff talking at the bar were loud and distracting. Second the next two sets of guests were sat on either side u Of us. If the booths were taller it would have been no problem. Other than that, everything was perfect and it was a wonderful night."

"The main event was superior (so was the onion soup and salads). The super fine quality of their cuts were cooked to perfection, like nothing I have ever experienced. Incredible! The various potato dishes were excellent, however the green beens were completely overpowered by the pepper added. Onion soup was the best! Red is my favorite!!"

"Food quality was poor. Timber jack ribeye steak for two was tough, sides not worth while. Very expensive but doesn't compare to Abe and Louie's or Capital Grill Should have know because not busy for a Saturday evening. Only positive was "Justin" our waiter, this place will not make it!!"

"I've never written a restaurant review before, as I'm usually very satisfied with fine dining restaurants in South Florida. However, Red is so out of line with other fine restaurants in this area, I felt I should let others know not to waste their time or money at Red. From the moment we walked in -- when I had to ask for a black napkin and my table mates were not offered one -- to the begging for my wine glass to be refilled, we felt the service was well below par. The presentation was poor (how about a garnish on the stark white plate with the miniscule piece of meat?), the food was average and the price was high. Go to Capital Grill or Morton's for a real steak and an excellent experience."

"Although I love their sister restaurant in South Beach, avoid the Boca location. Food was not as good, service was at best average. When I complained to the manager that the men's room had no soap, nothing happened. I wouldn't want to go back anyplace where the chefs and servers can't wash their hands!!!"

"Steak was excellent , salad was ok greens and sweet vinaigrette with nuts , bread got to hard to quick They heat up but that's how much it last soft get cold is hard as a rock Service was good but every plate took a long time to come outWe go there at 7:30 left at 8:45 almost 2 hours dinner"

"Very welcoming hostess and manager. As we arrived a few minutes before our reservation they made a point of offering us the table they had available or to wait a few minutes for the table we had requested. Steaks were first rate. Best ribeye in town. Whipped potatoes were very nice. We did not order desserts as we were very full but we have eaten them here before and they are very good. Red is a very nice eating experience."

"We went to the Red in Boca because we loved our trip to Miami beach location. What a shock we were in for that night. First, we sat and ordered our first drink, this only took ten mins before we had to ask where the drinks were. Next, a bartender brings us our drinks five mins later with apologies. Keep in mind we were one of five tables in the restaurant. From there it continued down hill. Our steak tar tar app did not taste right and when my wife ordered the baked shrimp the waiter raved about, it tasted like rubber. Our waiter, who did his best to accommodate, ordered some Tuna tar tar to fix. Hoping for a something good, again it failed. It really didn't even taste like Tuna. Bottom line, come for the bread or don't come at all."

"Thiswas our second visit and we were not disappointed . Aside from waiting 25 minutes beyond our reservation time our experience was wonderful. We waited at the bar for our table and they served fabulous bread sticks with our drinks. The bursts and tomatoe salad was one of the best I've had. All of our steaks were perfectly cooked and the veal chop was wonderful as well. Side dishes were perfect for 4people to share. It was a great evening and we will be back."

"There are so many negative reviews but we tried anyway after having had a good experience at the South Beach location. The food and service were very good. The staff took the time to answer questions, especially with the expansive wine list. The steak was cooked to perfection. Lobster tails were surprisingly small. "We had a wonderful Valentine's day meal at Red's. We were heartily greeted at the door by Jerry one of the managers and escorted to our booth in the dimly lit, romantic and elegant dining room. At Red, it's all about the meat. We both had the rib eye off the bone which was cooked to perfection. The dining room was empty when we first arrived but quickly filled up with diners. Wine list needs improvement with more economical choices by the glass but my Bloody Mary was professionally mixed if a bit pricy. Salads & sides were tasty but again overpriced for their size. Service was pleasant. There did seem to be something lacking with regard to ambiance though. All in all, very good though if you're craving a great piece of meat."

"We stopped into the bar for a drink a few weeks ago and decided to try it for Valentine's Day dinner. so glad we did. we ordered the dry aged Ribeye (or something to that effect) to split and it was mouth watering delicious. The sides were delicious as well and the dessert donuts- YUM. We loved everything- it was a great meal and we look forward to returning soon."

"Was there on a Sunday night at 7pm. Snippy hostess. Didn't like it when we made the comment that no one was there. She pointed to the five people that were there! Salads were good. Sautéd mushrooms were absolutely delicious. Prime rib was AWFUL! Initially it came out cold. We sent it back to warm up, but now our medium rare meat was medium. It was so tasteless that I could only manage to eat a small bit of it. Seemed to be a cheap piece of meat. The restaurant did the right thing and only charged me half price for it. Too many great steakhouses in the area to eat at this one. Don't expect this one to be around for long. STAY AWAY!"

"Expensive but well worth it. The high quality of each item served was obvious. Be careful where you sit, as the tables are very close together. We took a spacious booth in the bar area which was perfect for our romantic evening."

"Good food, service not so good. Server was good when we sat down and place the order, didn't see much of him after that. After the main course asked for the dessert menu. Never came back. We got up, went to the hostess desk ask for the check, paid and left. Not even an apology. If I'm willing to pay those prices, I want good service!"
