"Fair but not a top class restaurant. Mary(server) is friendly but hardly professional. Three wines on the list were not available and staff had no wine knowledge. Food ingredients good quality but not tasty.

"Ashley, our server, was VERY helpful. I was on a calorie restrictive diet and my sister is a vegan, and Ashley was promptly our ambassador between our table and the kitchen staff. The kitchen was unable to provide an exact calorie count on some dishes, but Ashley was able to make an informed suggestion. We both opted for the Spinach salad and a latte, and the kitchen offered to custom make a vegan entree for my sister, which included sauteed vegetables and egg whites, co-served by Ashley and the manager.
The atmosphere was not as refined/quiet as we had anticipated, (children running around toward the end, also a happily rambunctious party in the front) but it still was a wonderful, relaxing, higher-end option for a Sunday evening."

"I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. The service is horrible! The food is bland. The water smells funny. I had a reservation for 4 people & was seated at a table only prepared for 2 people. They eventually brought a placemat but we asked three times for more silverware/napkins. When our appetizer arrived, I still didn't have any. My friend got up & took some from another table. The food is EXTREMELY overpriced for the service & quality. I thought it was bland. Two of my friend's said the filet tasted like pot roast. It took nearly two hours for us to have ONE appetizer of hushpuppies and then our main course. There was no salt and pepper on the table - we had to ask. At around $60 per person for a girl's night - this was a waste!"

"Very good food. Especially enjoyed the pumpkin gnocchi followed up with a pear salad. I had the salmon with butternut squach risotto and my wife had a delicious 7 oz. ribeye as we celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary. Our food was cooked to order,our waitress was very friendly and the presentation was well done. The service left a little to be desired, not quite what it should be for an upscale restaurant in downtown OKC. We enjoyed a window seat that looked out on the park. It was a nice evening just not where it should be for the price and setting."

"Everything was absolutely wonderful. I will return and recommend this restaurant to others. 5 star all the way around! It was our 8 year anniversary and I requested to be seated away from other patrons if possible. We felt like we had the place to ourselves despite the fact that the place was packed. Nobody was seated next to us. If that was just coincidence, then it sure didn't feel like it. Bravo!"

"We have been eating at flint since they opened just over a year ago. Our first experience was a disaster, we never got our food and had tickets to the thunder game and had to leave. We gave them another chance and the service improved and it was an enjoyable meal before heading to the games. Sadly, the last 3 experiences have forced us to change our per game ritual from dining at flint. Sunday brunch was the last straw. We were on time for our 10:15 reservations and had no drinks on our table for 45 minutes. Our table of 4 ordered different types of mimosas, pouring fruit juice in a glass of champagne should be easy for any bartender. Our food came out in shifts and was good but we were past the point of being able to enjoy it. Disappointed"

"We picked this ate it had a number of very high reviews. We were seated in the bar although we had booked a dinner reservation. It was very loud and most people there were having drinks and appetizers not dinner. Once we placed our order we did not see our waitress again at our table. I say at our table, because she was there and walked by a number of times but never stopped to ask if we wanted anything else. The food was pretty good, but not as good as some I have had at other metro area restaurants such as Local and Ben Venuti. I had the tomato salad with mozarella, and the fresh mozarella was kind of dry and lacked flavor. The rissotto was over-cooked. The sea bass was excellent and cooked perfectly."

"I really like Flint's food and location, but I just can't recommend it. The service got worse each of the 3 or 4 times we have eaten there. This last time, I invited my out of town relatives to meet me there. They were floored at the terrible service. I'll probably eat there again with just my husband as we know what kind of service to expect because I do ideally like the restaurant. But I could never take anyone else there. It's really unfortunate. And unfortunate for Flint that I have shared my opinion of Flint with 2 other couples within the past week and both couples completely agreed and have had the same experience. Very sad."

"We came before a Thunder game because its a short walk from the arena. We really enjoyed everything about Flint; the food was delicious, the ambiance s very cool. And our waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and so fun and upbeat. Our food came out in a timely manner and we were safely in our seats long before the game started. Get there early on a game night because when we left it was packed!"

"We had steak which melted in our mouths. They have the best mac and cheese I have ever eaten. I usually don't care about mac and chesse but this was really different. I kept eating to try and figure out the recipe?"

"Terribly understaffed. Poorly organized or/and poor communication between staff and kitchen crew relative to receiving orders and delivering exactly what guests ordered in a TIMELY fashion. We are originally from New Orleans and enjoy a nice, slow dining experience, but our dinner Wednesday was NOT that. It seemed our waitress had too many tables to properly take care of. She did her best, but we felt like we had "been forgotten" at our table and our drink orders lost at the bar.
Overall, very disappointing. We apologized to our guests for taking them to The Flint."

"Our experience was horrible. I made the reservation through Open Table to enjoy a nice dinner before the Eric Clapton concert. When we arrived we were told WE had made a reservaton for the outside patio. It was quite cool and windy this evening and not conducive to eating outdoors. There was NO mention of the outside patio on OpenTable, so this was very shocking. I asked to speak to the manager and the lady I was discussing the matter with said in a hateful tone of voice, "I am the manager." I asked for a table inside and although there were a number of vacant tables visible, she stated they were all reserved. They did not honor our reservation and we were forced to leave without eating. It was a bad experience with a rude manager."

"I made dinner reservations. Once there, I requested a patio table if available (there were many emply tables inside and out). The host sighed but offered us a cafe table outside. Once we finished our appetizer, I told our waiter we hadn't gotten the full menu yet. He said the cafe tables were only for appetizers and drinks, which no one told us. So we asked for a table where we could get a full dinner. The waiter had to go talk to someone, and came back saying they were too full. I asked him to double check since we made reservations and were not told about the different tables/menus. No apologies were made and they treated us as an inconvience. Once at a new table, drinks were left empty for 30 mins. Dessert took 40 mins to come."

"I love the casual, relaxed feel of this restaurant. Located in the Colcord hotel downtown it is a convenient choice for anyone for lunch. Free valet parking for diners takes away the worry of parking and the food is definitely worth it. If you decide to try Flint, I would suggest the meatloaf on a bed of cheddar mashed potatoes. The Flat Iron Steak is another favorite. No matter what you try, you won't be disappointed!!!"

"This was our second visit this year. Our first visit was a 5 star even though it was a concert night. This time, we also had an early reservation to beat the concert crowd. We had steaks and scallops which were cooked correctly. The plates look bare without a vegetable. There was no bread served although a bread plate and knife were sitting there. A drink I ordered from the dessert menu was not available. Our water glasses were not refilled. For the price, the service and food were not up to par. The location is ideal so I hope improvements will be made."

"I ordered "the FLINT" cocktail, it came 20 mins later and missing a key ingredient. When asked, the waitress said she'd ask the bartender. After watching her walk back and forth for another 20 mins, I finally asked if she spoke with the bartender and she said they ran out of the Serrano peppers that were supposed to go into the drink. Our glorified chicken tenders appetizer took 40 mins to arrive and it was cold. Our steaks showed up, well 1hr;10mins after ordering. The restaurant was maybe 1/3 full? This was the 2nd time I've eaten here in 8 months and both times the service was either nonexistent or terrible. Overall we spent 2.5 hrs there just for dinner. If the staff moved any slower we'd be traveling back in time. Def not going back!"

"10 - 15 minutes before anyone visited our table. 50 minutes for a salad to arrive. My steak was done just fine; my wife's steak was not edible - over cooked and tough. Potatoes au gratin were not cooked. Inexcusable for a restaurant that seeks to be a "fine dining" destination. We have no plans to return and this is too bad. OKC could use another nice restaurant downtown."
