"Thank you, once again, to Bistro Bohem for a fantastic meal! I took my parents there for a Mother's Day dinner and we were not at all disappointed! Everyone loved their appetizers and meals - and I had a great glass of Czech wine! Thank you for a fantastic experience! I love having this place within walking distance!!"

"If you have ever been to Germany or the Czech Republic, you will be disappointed with the food. It is flat and amateur. The place has great ambience, but not enough to compensate for the main reason you'd go...the food."

"The service was amazing, food was great too. My husband claimed he didn't like eastern european food before we went...he cleaned his plate. I didn't drink since I'm pregnant, so I can't comment of the wine and beer selection. It was perfect. Walking distance from the 930 club, so we went here first for dinner and the food came out quickly so we had plenty of time to get to the show. Would definitely go again."

"This time was our second time at Bistro Bohem. It was delightful for the both of us. The lamb chops were nicely seasoned on top of a large pile of wild mushroom rosotto. They had to cook them a little more since I like my meat well done. That was no problem. David had a nice NY strip with potatoes and veggies. Very tasty!! The ginger martini is better if you have a cold, it was spicy!!!"

"Really nice vibe. Fun wine list. Good staff. The food mostly lacked umph except for the beet carpaccio. I'd go again for sure, just stay away from the fried things and the pierogi were just lumps."

"This place was awesome. The food reminded me of the great meals we've had in Eastern Europe. Simple, high quality, and delicious. A lot of Eastern Europeans frequent Bistro Bohem and for good reason. Try the Goulash. It's tremendous."

"Yum! This is my 2nd visit to Bohem and it was every bit as good as the first. The service was outstanding. We arrived 20 minutes early and our table was ready. We were seated promptly and never felt rushed. The food was delicious, definitely try the perogies."

"Food was generally very good, particularly their pasta. Portions, while they look big, are rather small. Ambiance is ok: it's a small restaurant on a street corner. It's perhaps a little loud, but the bar is in the main dining room. Service was good generally, but it did take some time to get the check."

"We had heard lots of hype about Bistro Bohem and were expecting something great ... but we were underwhelmed. The food was just so-so. The spinach pierogi with tomato sauce was gummy and a little bitter; the cauliflower was delightfully puffy but overly greasy and drizzled with the barest minimum of aioli to be detectable. The cocktails were light on alcohol. And the noise was intolerable; my dining companion and I eventually gave up on trying to have a conversation."

"My recommendation is qualified. Go for the big heavy dishes like pork loin and duck. The small plates don't get the attention they deserve. The dumplings were dry and tasteless and the snitzel reminded me of something you'd get from the frozen section of a supermarket."

"Bistro Bohem was mediocre, over-hyped in my opinion. Expensive and the quality of the food was just average, not worth the price and not comparable to what other restaurants in that area and price range are putting on the table. The goulash was tasty but fairly boring and small. The borsht was exactly the same as the goulash minus the pureeing and with a dollop of sour cream. Maybe its a regional recipe I'm not familiar with but the soup did not appear to have any beets in it at all and was a typical beef stew, not at all what I was expecting. The perogies were supposed to have a more exotic blue cheese sauce with them but what showed up tasted like a simple sour cream and dill sauce, not impressed."

"The service left quite a bit to be desired as our waitress didn't speak any English, forgot to bring drinks we'd ordered and checked in on us very rarely. Upon noticing this, however, the young woman who was actually in charge of the coffee bar in the back of the restaurant took it upon herself to come over and give us the scoop on her favorites and recommendations and she was very helpful. I still rate this as worth going for the food alone. We had the Farmer's Plate (custom selected meats with an aged balsamic), the tomato soup, the bratwurst and the Pilsner Burger (burger with a fried egg) and all were very good."

"We took a friend with us to have her experience this neighborhood restaurant. She's a vegitarian and found things that she could eat, such as the mushroom risotto and the potato chips. The waitress was able to answer some questions about the food prep and the manager(?) who was sitting and working on something nearby was able to answer what she couldn't. We had a quieter meal than normal as we were seated in the area that during the day is the coffee shop, away from the louder bar area. Good time was had by all."
