"I have been going to Caffe Abbracci for many years and can truthfully say that I have never been disappointed. I have become friends with the owner and some of the wait staff and they couldn't be friendlier. And the food is superb. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is usually busy, hence a bit noisy, but on this occasion I went at 6 PM and it was quiet. If you are going with a large party and intend to bring a lot of wine from home, there is no break on corkage, it's $20 per bottle, $40 per magnum on so on."

"My husband and I were joined by two friends to celebrate our birthdays. The service was wonderful and professional. I had the black ink, lobster ravioli as an appetizer! Excellent! I had the fresh snapper, it was also excellent! Everyone was very pleased with their selections and the dessert and wine were wonderful.

"Although it was a pleasant dining experience, the service was extremely slow and my veal Milanese was simply a plain piece of veal pillard with no arugula and tomatoes on it.
I had to hunt down my waiter for a check and I waited for almost 30 minutes for my order to be taken.
I got a drink at the bar while waiting for the rest of my party. There were only 4 chairs and no one was around to wait on me. When they came, they were not equipped to take my money. It was 7:30 P M. Certainly the restaurant should have been organized by then."

"The restaurant was very loud. Decorated in the 1970's. their wine is poor even for italian wines. The beef carpaciao came out as one pressed slice of meat. Be prepared to serve your own wine. We ordered a risotto to share before our main course. they brought it out with our main course. the food came 20 minutes after arrival. fast service not fast enough to even get the wine to room temperature. DON"T DO IT. IT IS GETTING BY ON ITS OLD REPUTATION AND WHO goes there. Don't go for the food or the service."

"The food is exceptional. Either try some of the favorites mentioned in other reviews or pick something you like. You will not be disappointed. I could rate the service either really high or really low, depending on which group you fit in. If you are a regular diner, the waiter not only talks with you he entertains you; and, the general manager comes to your table and fawns over you. If you are not a regular diner, the staff will tolerate you and barely wish you a pleasant journey when you leave. There should not be such a disparity at what otherwise is a 5-star restaurant."

A staff member spilled a glass of ice water on my friend's lap and purse. We were then given two identical checks since one server was not aware of the other. The filet of sole was just okay. The red sauce onthe accompanying pasta was disappointing. Everytime I used the men's room the wait staff was crowding the area between to the point where we were bumping into each other. Over 10 years, I have gone to Abbracci and have recommended to friends. Please train your staff back to your old highstandards . THANK YOU"

The consistently wonderful food, the same friendly waiters, and the willingness to accommodate a diner's every whim bring people back on a regular basis. "went to Abbracci while in Miami for only one night on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Key Biscayne. Possibly the best Italian food we've ever had.....we live in San Diego and have many options, so this is a huge complement! The black and white linguine with Shrimp was fabulous and our waiter, Marlon, could not have been nicer and more attentive. If we had only one night in Miami, we would go right back to Caffe Abbracci!

"We used to have dinner at Caffe Abbracci frequently but about five years ago we moved to Bal Harbour and the drive to Coral Gables discouraged us from continuing to make dinner reservations at the Caffe. There was a movie which we wanted to see at a theater in Coral Gables and so we decided to have dinner at Caffe Abbracci after the movie. It was a great decision. We all agreed that the food and service were outstanding and we truly enjoyed our evening at the Caffe."

"my wife and i went this past saturday and have been raving about it since then. we got out table immediately and the waiters and staff could not have been more professional or helpful. we ordered the fried calamari and the buratta and proscuitto appetizers. they were perfect. i had the black lobster ravioli and my wife had the veal chop. again perfection. we ended the night with the best napolean my wife had ever had and also the pastry puffs with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. my wife also had a great cup of cappocino. 5 stars from appetizer to deserts!!!! bravo cafe abbracci!!!!!"

"Very good Italian food. We started out with appetizers including calamari, mushrooms and mozzarella with tomato. Service was excellent. For the main course, I had the Branzino special which had a very subtle wine reduction along with leeks and capers. Very tasty and tender fish. My wife had the spinach ravioli which was plentiful and tasty. I also highly recommend the desserts if you still have room."
