Café Gratitude is a collection of 100% organic vegan restaurants specializing in gourmet raw and cooked cuisines. Our cafes create gourmet dishes with organic produce from our very own farm in Vacaville, CA (Be Love Farm). We honor the earth as we honor ourselves and have created a menu that promotes consciousness and sustainability for both our well being and health as well as the planet and all of its inhabitants. We practice business through a view of love we call Sacred Commerce, where we celebrate mistakes, commit to strong communication, and give gratitude for our lives. "Cafe Gratitude is fantastic in every way except noise level. (Bad accoustics + happy people!) I ordered the "I AM AWESOME" sandwich which was grilled eggplant with nut cheeses and yummy pesto in a (sundried tomato and grated carrot wrap?) OMG! The flavors were truly awesome! I have never eaten such good tasting vegan food in my life! It was sooo good I probably will never order anything else! I'm not even a vegan or vegetarian and I go for flavor! This was winning the lottery! an Our server, Rebecca, was wonderful! All in all, great experience!"

"Cafe Gratitude is my go-to whenever I am in Los Angeles. The cuisine is at once comforting and elevated. Vegans and non-vegans alike will find something (more than one thing) that will delight their palates. My only wish--that Cafe Gratitude had a San Diego location! Now that would be perfect!"

"Food was incredible! Diners included a Vegan, Vegetarian and Carnivore...everyone loved their meal...I am Mahalo, I am Terrific and I am Humble (Indian curried lentils over brown rice, with sautéed vegatables, sweet potatoes and spinach, drizzled with a spicy mint chutney and sweet tamarind sauce)...which was my favorite. Dessert was beyond delicious! I am Joy (essentially an Almond Joy), I am Irresistable coconut cream pie and I am Praising vanilla ice cream made with coconut and cashew milk. EVERY bite of EVERYthing was wonderful! Visited on a busy Sunday. Service was entirely pleasant however not very attentative."

"Please use Opentable when booking here. The place was packed when our party of four visited but our table was ready and we were promptly seated. I've only ever eaten here for lunch but I have to say, they have an uncanny ability of making a non-meat meal taste like meat. I say this because I had a meat-loving curmudgeon with me who absolutely loved his veggie burger. They have a veggie substitute for everything which I have to say is all delicious.
By the way...service is great."

"We were first time diners looking for a spot that the entire family could enjoy. With our 50/50 split on meat vs vegan this isn't always easy. No one was disappointed and there was a unanimous vote (out of 12) to return! I feel a victorious win as well as a happy tummy."

"Cafe G has issues with holding reservations (Venice and WLA locations): Venice: We showed up at 7pm on a Sat for a 7:15 reservation: party of 4/outside/with our dog. A small group ahead of us was at the desk and the person at the front desk asked, "Would you like to sit inside or outside." The lady chose outside, and they were escorted to the last table available outside. Cafe G did not hold a table for our reservation and we waited until almost 7:45pm to be seated. After 15 minutes of waiting I peaked my head in and asked how are table was: She said, "Well that depends. What's your name?" I reminded her we were waiting for our 7:15 reservation. I stood inside to be sure they didn't give the next table away. A sad system."

"Our uncle was in from out of state and we took him here for dinner. It was our first time coming to this restaurant. It was great! We had a really good time, all three of us really liked the food and said so, the smoothies were awesome, service was attentive, very friendly, enjoyed the ambiance. Great night out, we will definitely be back."

"Overall, this is perhaps the best vegan restaurant I've had for dinner. The appetizer and dinner were both wonderful, and I enjoyed my herbal infusion. Our waitress was friendly, and the noise level was energetic, but not too noisy to hold a conversation. The only drawback was dessert- the texture of our cake left a little to be desired. Overall, I would recommend!"

"I've been a longtime fan of Gratitude on Larchmont. As is often the case, there is a slight decline in tastiness whenever there's a branch out, but Gratitude Venice stays the course pretty well. The service is stellar. Friend ordered a cappuccino, a waiter walked by and asked her if she wanted more foam. He took it and returned with the frothiest almond milk coffee drink ever made.
They're no longer making the fake BLT I Am Incredible I think it was called, but an astute waitress figured out how to make it by using the bacon-flavored coconut chips from another sandwich. Delish!
Got the I am divine beet/ginger juice. The name fits. Try it."

"They took us early before our reservation time, and with friendliness--good! Light too dark, menu 8-9 point type and made reading difficult at best, impossible at worst. Other patrons used their cell phone flashlights with menu. I made mistake and left mine at home to recharge. Food unexceptional, but that may be because we were unable to make good choices based on poor menu readability. Other customers seemed to be OK in light of(pun intended) constraints we faced. Waitress made a good effort and was OK. All in all, wouldn't go back except maybe once to see if perhaps other choices work for us. NO comparison to, say, Christopher's Kitchen in West Palm Beach, which is a Great place to eat!"

"It's easy to become vegan after eating here. Every dish is so skillfully prepared and delicious that's it's almost hard to believe they're all meat and dairy free. I wish they would come to New York!!"

"Great selections for GF, Vegan and otherwise healthy eaters.
Drawback -I was there on a Saturday - 8pm res. during our meal there were 6 birthday "celebrations" - wherein it gets loud with music and singing and clapping. Birthdays are great but... I don't want my dinner interrupted THAT many times in one evening."

"Excellent vegetarian restaurant. The kale chips, brussel sprouts and veggie burger were delicious. All the dishes and drinks have great names like "I am vivid", which is red sangria. The desserts are great too. Another good feature is 90 minute free validated parking."

"As a non vegan, I was little apprehensive about going here for a dinner with friends. I read the menu online and felt a little scared about things like "cashew cheese". Everything I tried was PHENOMENAL. Honestly, one of the best meals Ive had in a while, vegan or non-vegan. Will be recommending this to others for sure!"

"My first time at this location and I found it to be just as delicious as the other in Larchmont. The food is so fresh and the flavors and textures so well-put-together. I am a meat-eater, but I enjoy and appreciate a good vegan meal. Alot of veg/vegan places use fake meat (yuck) but at CG there is none to be found. Our server was super friendly and attentive. It was my husband's birthday and the whole staff came out and sang him a really nice bday song."

"I made a reservation for 1 p.m. My dining pal and I were about 15 minutes late and CG had just dropped our reservation. However, they rushed to seat us. As we were munching on two delicious vegan dishes, the people around us screamed at each other. My pal and I had a difficult time speaking to each other at all. We noticed, too late, that there was a nice quiet patio, protected from the weather and heated. The dishes are so good I will certainly dine at Cafe Gratitude again. Next time, however, I will book a patio table where it did seem a lot less noise and where I can visit with my friend over lunch."

"As a vegan with limited choices, I am always so pleased to find a restaurant that I love and that I can bring my "normie" friends to as well. This is that place! And if you are lucky enough to have butternut squash be the soup of the day, order a gallon to go!"

"The concept of the restaurant is fantastic. The service is warm and friendly - although absent mindedly inattentive. The main dining looked cheerful and fun. We had my daughter's dog so we sat in the outside "enclosed" area which was like dining in a tent on the street where the atmosphere was mellow and cold. Birthdays are celebrated very cheerfully with the waiters acting jolly and having fun. The food for this new comer was harder to get used to. Since it was all raw food (100% organic) it was very rich and tasty, but a bit cold. For me, the local organic wines saved the day! I would definitely go back next time I'm in Venice, but you have to know what to order."
