"We typically have a very good experience at Cattle Company however, this visit was one of the worst. Out of three meals, only one was right. The table next to us, with the same waiter, one of their orders did not even show up. The food was very good, no complaints there. Spending $100 for three people though, you'd think they could get more than 1 out of 3 meals correct."

"Nice restaurant, similar to some other popular steakhouses, but much nicer ambiance and not to loud. The food was very good (we had a sirloin and New York) and the 4-chocolate flourless torte was amazing. We look forward to making this one of our regular dining places in Anchorage, since most of the establishments here that serve a good steak are too loud and bar oriented (the Cattle Company was a nice, intimate, and quiet change)."

"We had a 6:15 reservation and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The lobby was full of people waiting, and there were many open tables?! Our server didn't get to us until we had been sitting at the table for 5-10 minutes, no water. Took our drink order and came back ten minutes later. Took our appetizer order, didn't come back for 10 minutes. Finally got out drinks and then took our food order. We received water after we got our appetizers. We were sat right next to the wait station, so it was loud. Service was not good and it was over priced for what we got. If you are going to have prices like you do you need a better wait staff. The wait staff should not make you wait,and fyi if you have a reservation you should be seated immediately."

"The staff was incompetent. We showed up for our reservation and the hostess said it will be 5 min. Since there were a lot of people waiting, we told her we would go sit at the bar and wait. 15 min later, I ask her how much longer. She said she thought we were just going to the bar. We made a reservation to sit at the bar? The one who seated us took us around in circles because she didn't know where our table was. The Filet Mignon was ordered med. It was burnt on top and rare in the middle. At least the green beans were good. We won't be going back."

"We opted to go to dinner here for Valentine's Day and we enjoyed it very much. We were given a private booth and excellent service with a smile. Both of our dinners were delicious including broccoli that was perfectly steamed & rice that had just the right amount of firmness. I had the lobster and, though tasty, I think it was just a tad bit overcooked. The only other things I would change is to use real butter for dipping the lobster (it seemed like what I got was a butter/oil mix)and to increase the wine choices by about 3 times. Overall, we enjoyed everything very much. Great meal and nice ambiance."

"These guys are especially hospitable to opentable participants. My prior experience with Cattle Co. has been outshone by making online reservations. They isolated my party from other guests and checked back with perfect timing between courses without hovering. Our orders were embelished with a "have it your way" mentality even on a Sunday (where the training or back-up chefs usually work.) Overall a great experience."

"Service was outstanding, you couldn't drink beverages faster than our server poured them. Our apps were served quickly. Entrees were served hot and were delicious. All special sides and "cooked-to-order" plates were spot-on. Kudos!
Unfortunately, The table was terribly uncomfortable. Our original reservation was for 10. When we got to our table (in a small corral) we were so crammed in that the 5 seats on each side of the table were touching each other, essentially creating 2 long benches. Luckily, 2 or 3 in our party cancelled and we were able to remove some chairs. That barely made enough room, and still felt very crammed-in. The music was also too loud making our business lunch seem like a heated discussion."
