"You have an outstanding staff, both at the check in desk and the people serving you at the table. Quick and friendly people . Also a good menu . Hey when you leave at 7:00 PM and there is a crowd waiting to get a table, then you must be doing something right!"

"We went to Black Angus as we planned to see a movie and the restaurant was close. We were tight for time so being able to book ahead before we left home was great. We were seated immediately and the service was great - fast but not hurried. The food arrived and was how I would expect. The steaks were cooked exactly as asked and the ribs tasted great. We had time to dine in a comfortable manner and still make the movie. For us this night it was excellent."

"The food was excellent. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was delicious. Everything came out in a timely manner. The only down part was our server. She forgot things and seemed overwhelmed by the Friday night crowd. But the food was yummy!"

"I had a couple cocktails, which were very good. We ordered the loaded potato skins as an appetizer but they were cold, which wasn't great. I ordered my steak "medium" but it was definitely much more "medium rare" than "medium" and some of it was "rare." But, the steak was still good. I liked how quiet the place was, but we were there at lunch (on Mother's Day). The booths are cozy and make for an intimate atmosphere. The waitress was nice but was constantly checking on us to the point that I felt like she was trying to get us out of there so she could get someone else in. If I didn't need anything two minutes ago, I probably don't need anything right now. And don't take the signed/tipped checks until we leave, that's just rude."

"I have been going to Cattle Compamy for at least 40 years. I have always enjoyed the food and service and have great memories of hitting the place as a hot spot back in the late 1970s. Love the private booths - much better than a cafeteria style seating. My only gripe would be with the prices. I think the menu and especially the bar beverages are way over-priced for a neighborhood type restaurant. I paid $16.00 for a well shot of tequila and an inexpensive glass of Chardonay. Ouch!!"

"My sons and I went to this Black Angus for my birthday dinner. The food was great and it was cooked the way it was ordered. The restaurant was clean. The noise level, well, I didn't notice one. And our waitress was outstanding with a friendly, helpful manner and a great sense of humor. I had made reservations on-line and it couldn't have been easier. I doubt I could have been any happier with the service or the food. Many thumbs up from us on this visit."

"I am a fan of Black Angus stake house in Vancouver. However, my last visit was not up to their usual quality. I have never had a problem with their steaks. This visit I tried their Prime Rib. It was cooked to my request but I felt was way to grisly and had an onion flavor. It was tender but seemed "dry". It's back to steaks for me there. Even their steak and lobster offerings are excellent.
The waiter must have been new as he didn't offer pepper for the salad, water, and only asked how the dinner was when we were almost done. He also asked if we wanted desert at which time I had to remind him that my Prime Rib can with mud pie, which was excellent."

"This is the second time we have dined here in the past couple months and we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. The manager, seeing that we were early, opened the restaurant anyway and welcomed us warmly. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious!!! I had the 6oz.filet special...yummmm. Even my dad, who notoriously gets a bad steak wherever he goes, said his top sirloin was the best he has had in a long, long time. Kudos to the chef and the staff! Thanks for a really nice Birthday dinner for my mom! I looked online beforehand and was able to print out a coupon that saved us quite a bit of money...thanks! :-)"

"We enjoyed the food that we ordered at Black Angus. The food was great as usual and our server was very good too. One complaint that I do have is the very noisy environment since the resturant was remodeled. One thing that added to the noise was that the booth that we wer in was very close to the place where a server replenishes ice for the other stations in the resturant. Digging in the ice was very noisy. Since 2 of the people in our party are hard of hearing and wear hearing aids, they found it difficult to hear and participate in conversations. I think all resturants need to be more aware of the noise factor especially for those patrons with hearing difficulties."

"We love this place and we'll keep coming back because usually their service and food is terrific, however, we showed up for Easter to have dinner and it was pretty crowded, which is fine because they sat us right away( we made reservations). But the food was not up to their usual standards. It took forever to arrive, we had a group of 6 and they gave us just one bread basket, one burger was ordered medium and arrives well done, our veggies were onset cooked, and our steaks were on the dry side. It was a let down, especially because of the cost, but again, usually we enjoy our experience."

"The restaurant is a little dated, but the food and service more than make up for lack of special ambience. The large lobster tail was generous and absolutely delicious! And, we appreciated the fresh, baby asparagus that the chef had prepared. The waiter was excellent, and the management was very responsive, asking how our food and service were. We had an exceptional meal at a more than reasonable price. For sure, we will go back again."

"Suart Andersen's Black Angus is an excellent resturant for a family night out or a romantic dinner date night for signles.
The food is reasonably priced, the service is propmpt and polite withou being "on top of you" or overbearing.
The ambiance is a western theme with tables and booths that are open and yet closed enough to allow for some privacy. The lighting is slightly dimmed but bright enogh to see everything without creating a safety issue.
All in all an excellent value for the money."

"The food is great. The lobster tail is the biggest ever. The steak melts in your mouth and the fresh hot rolls are wonderful. My husband and I always make it a point to go there for all our special occasions.
The apple crisp was wonderful. I hope you continue to keep it on the menu.
The krisp was warm and light, even though we were very full, we had no problem eating the whole thing. Yummy!!!!!

"This is our favorite restaurant - however, this visit received the worst service ever. We chose to sit in lounge, so we could watch basketball game. We will never dine there again! The waitress got our order wrong, we waited and waited for our food, had to ask 2-3 times for things we needed,(extra butter, etc). Then when done, she charged the wrong amount to my visa. Really wrecked my night (which was my birthday). The food, kinda cold by the time we ate, was really good, though."

"we had a coupon that was sent to my email. As soon as our waitress saw it, I could read the look of annoyance on her face. Why send out coupons to bring in business if you are going to make people feel bad about using them? Appetizer was great, drinks were good entrees were very under par. My steak was ok however I couldn't even bite thru my onion rings. Hubby's steak (which we paid extra for, as noted on the coupon)was 70% grissle. Lastly, we love the cookie dessert! But only because they are so gooey- ours came out incredibly burnt! it just added to the disappointment (almost felt as if we were given the bad one due to the coupon use) our waitress never cared that I told her it was my b-day even tho other waitresses sang."

"We arrived early for our reservation, abd sat at the bar for a couple of drinks prior to dinner. Both bartenders were awesome, personable and funny..great people to be around.We were called for our reservation right on time.
Overall a good experience,The food was very good, portions were average, we left quite full, and other than the fact that one of our sides wasn't served when the entree was brought to the table (we had to remind the server the side was missing) I would have given it 5 stars across the board."
