"My wife and I tried Serratto for the first time. We were seated promptly on a busy Mothers day weekend (thanks opentable). We both enjoyed our meals including dessert. We also had a nice Apolloni Vineyard red wine. Our Server was great too. Interesting, in the restroom, they were playing language lesson tapes. Too Fun!!!"

"A great place to sit and talk and eat some tasty Italian inspired food. Pasta dishes were good, especially the boar. Salads inspired...although the Kale, fennel, grapefruit salad was overwhelmed by the hot kale. More grapefruit and fennel please! Good service, attentive, helpful and full of good humor, but not overwhelming. Would go again."

"Wait staff needs to attend to the way they serve meals. We were seated next to a staircase and they routinely passed our plates over the bannister. NOT Cool service technique. This was not my best experience at this restaurant. There are a lot of other great places to eat in this neighborhood and I think I will try another next time."

"Just love dining at Serrato any time - lunch or dinner - its always a treat to be there. This time was particularly lovely as it was a beautiful and sunny day - sitting at a table by an open window - we were dining in paradise! "While the restaurant supports groups, and we were clearly in the company of at least two large (more than 8) person birthday dinners, this made it considerably less conducive for a romantic dinner for two. Boisterous would be a nice word to use for the crowd -- obnoxious would be more accurate for the table to my immediate right. Happily, the food and lovely wine were enough to distract me -- most of the time."

"Food was delicious but my daughter thought her mac and cheese was a little tasteless. I also found the roasted artichoke we were served and, recommended by our server, very cumbersome to eat. Also, not really much value when you consider the price to flavor/portion of the dish--better have stuck to the calamari or something else on the appetizer menu. Lastly, our food came out pretty quickly but it also may be the reason why we weren't given the nice crusty bread they served in the tables around us. Despite this, I think it's a great place to hang out and have a nice meal!"

"This was not our first trip Serratto - but we love it every time. My recent addiction is kale. I used to hate it, and now I've found versions that are delicious. Serratto has a kale salad with grapefruit, fennel, and pine nuts that is delicious. And for dessert, the bittersweet chocolate cobbler is incredible. Worth every decadent calorie. Our service was excellent. If you haven't tried Serratto yet, check it out. Yummy."

Scallops entree: Scallops over-cooked for my liking and small. The squash puree was balanced and smooth, the apples OK and what ever else was sauteed with it was tasty but nothing special(undefined). Would have prefer more texture (other than soft) and and maybe another element to offset rich components on plate. Maybe more of the gastric, not sure. I think in one bite I tasted arugula, maybe that was a garnish but that was a perfect contrast in taste(fresh)and texture(raw). Don't recall any other fresh herb on plate.

"Wonderful service. The service was fast and great. Our waitress was very good at checking in to make sure we were enjoying our dinner and that everything was going well. We went for our three year anniversary, because we had such a great time on a prior date, and received complimentary champagne on the house when the waitress found out we were celebrating our anniversary. The food tasted great and had beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was perfect for our date. But it would be good for larger groups as well. I would definitely recommend to others based on food and experience."

"I eat at Serratto regularly, because the food is outstanding. However, the service can be hit or miss. In this case, I had a reservation which my wife and I arrived 15 minutes early for. The hostess told us we'd have to wait for a table (no problem). However, they had no seating to wait at, and to add insult to injury, two couples without reservations came in looking for a table and they seated them both before us. Then, less than five minutes before our official reservation time, a couple came in very late for their reservation and once again got seated before us. Once we were finally seated, the food was excellent. The restaurant was seemed under staffed for the occasion (Valentines Day) and service was slow, though the food was excellent"

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. The service was friendly, but slow (ie: lunch took about 30 mins, and it took a long time for water to be filled). The food was mediocre. I don't understand why a chicken salad sandwich is such a difficult menu item to get right. Unstable bread (can't hold it's contents) that has been toasted too much (burnt), way too much coarsely chopped red onion and garlic in the chicken salad, and overall, not enough chicken salad. When you pick up a sandwich and all the contents fall out immediately, it's not a good sign. Oh and if you burn the potato chips, don't serve an extra big pile of them. Sorry Serratto. I miss Delphina's"

"Serratto is good. I would like to be able to say Serratto is GREAT, but I'm so bored with the lunch menu. It seems to never change. That said, the burger is always cooked perfectly to order and the trout is really very good."

"We love Serratto! The food is always fresh everything is made from scratch, the service is fabulous. The happy hour menu is very good as well as the main menu. My husband is vegetarian and we appreciate their accommodation of us ordering side dishes and that they always have a great vegetarian option on the menu."

"We loved the food, hors d'oeuvres, bread, main courses were phenomenal. I had a bouillabaisse that was the best since Marseilles 30 years ago; the Dungeness crab ravioli was delightful. But perhaps the best test was a pizza MARGHERITA which was scrumptious--simple fare, wonderfully made. The bittersweet chocolate cobbler was slightly less ideal, but still excellent; we loved the service--friendly, efficient, attentive. A lovely space. Highly recommended"
