"From having to wait 10 minutes after our reservation checkin to be seated then wait another 5 minutes before we were asked to get a drink then waiting roughly 30 minutes for our food it was just a poor dining experience. The food was on the colder side and the garlic mashed potatoes must have been from the night before they were really cold and dry. Was hoping for a better first impression but every area lacked in quality."

"We had made early reservations so there weren't many patrons. No doubt that contributed to the quiet noise level. That said, the high backed booths really enhance the feeling of privacy and reduce the noise level. The food was very good, as was the service. The steaks and ribs were yummy! We will definitely make a return visit in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends."

"The food was great but we were seated in the bar area which was not our intentions. We were celebrating Mother's Day with my mother and my children and husband had made reservations. I did not think I needed to say I didn't want to sit in the bar when i made the reservations cause we had never been seated there before. It was loud and there was a bunch in the corner that got kicked out so there was some inappropriate language when they were asked to leave. It was good food, but it was not the atmosphere that I have grown to expect when we go there. I had chosen Black Angus because of the quiet atmosphere back in the restaurant. I was not happy.....didn't want to watch TV or have the rest of the family watching TV during this dinner."

"The waiter Randy was excellent. We often frequented the Keg in Renton and he was our waiter. It was a great surprise to have him at the Black angus in Federal Way. Everything was great. The only down side was the some guests who had the coupon dinner filet mignon was not so good. It was so tiny for the money. There was almost absolutely nothing on the plate and cooked well. It was a rip off. But everything else at the table was wonderful. the birthday singing was also great. Thank you so much. Please consider removing that tiny filet from a coupon. It made some guests feel like they paid a lot of money for nothing and not want to return. We will return though. thank you"

"We were a party of 4 + 2 kids. We were seated in a corner booth that wasn't very big. The other booth was unavailable due to a light bulb being out.
We had a Gluten Free member in our party and they accommodated that situation well (though more options food wise would have been nice).

"Parking was hard to find (6:15 pm)
Wagon Wheel sampler appetizer was looking skimpy. We have been coming to this restaurant in Hawaii and Puyallup for many years. I have noticed that the shrimp cocktail are fewer in numbers as well as the other items on the sampler appetizer.
My steak was well done when I asked for med rare.
It was misleading when ordering the $39.95 special for 2 people that the waiter/waitress would ask the question of onions and mushrooms on the steak, without saying that there are extra charges. As a result the 2 couples with us were surprise when the bill showed additional charges!!!

"We were celebrating our son, David's, 52nd birthday. He wanted a quiet evening spent with us, his folks, and got it. The only complaint, David had, was the cut of the rib eye he ordered was less than he expected. He said it was a very poor cut of the rib eye. But over all, we did have a very nice meal, and the peace and quiet is just what he ordered. Our server, Jennifer, was excellent, and wanted to bring him, David, his birthday dessert, but he declined, with a thank you, but no thank you.

"Everything was great, the service,food, atmosphere. The only negative aspect was my guest ordered a Mac & water and the drink wasn't prepared correctly. It had to be sent back and done again. It happend again with the second drink - it had to be sent back and redone. So, maybe the bartender that was working on March 22nd might have been new??
All in all, it was a very pleasent dinner and we would go back again."

"It had been quite a long time since we visited this restaurant, but were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and service. We all had the Prime Rib ordered cooked differently and it was cooked perfectly. It was a nice evening out with friends and I'd recommend it to others. "I had a group of 15, and the only thing I didnt like was that they put my group on 2 different tables, so that we could not all communicate together as a single unit. I made the reservation a week in advance, and would have liked them to have accommodated us better in that respect. The food was very good, and the service was good. The prices were fantastic. "Party of six there to celebrate father's 90th bithday,we had stated in our online reservations. The waiter was outstanding,customer service at his best. We were disappointed with other things that night. They were out of the famous molassus bread. Sold out, this was a Tuesday night! My sister had ordered her steak medium rare, it was just as rare, if not rarer than my rare steak. She asked to have it cooked more, it came back the same, she sent it back again, the manager brought it back, it was cooked to medium rare, however the side of mushrooms that she had ordered extra, were gone. Then dessert, WE ARE OUT OF ICE CREAM, which on most of your dessert, ok, cake to go,we will have ice cream at home with it, no chance to sing H B-day to dad."

"Not equipped to handle the moderate crowd for the BA standards one would expect. The food coming out of the kitchen obviously had been sitting under the lamp too long. (Dried out and over done. ) With the cost of dinner easily over $50.00 I'd bet on a sure thing. Just not this place."

"Two couples we ordered and appetizer didnt come until after the salad was served. Was told a of times that it was on its way. Had coffee and was told three times oh you need more coffee, I will get that for you. Never came. Had to ask again and was told making a fresh pot. So only got two cups of coffee the whole time there.
