"As first timers to this AZ eatery we were pleasantly surprised. Host/Hostess was our first contact and they made our unexpected early arrival most comfortable by seating us within minutes. Next contact was our server, Roy. He was a pleasure; very professional, most informed of Black Angus food, as well as any questions we presented to him and just all-around accomodating. We left feeling satisfied with our leisurely, special Mother's Day dining experience."

"We usually have our Thanksgiving dinner here. The food is delicious. On mothers day, it was crowded. I was disappointed when one of the waitresses started sweeping the carpet in front of our table, this was rude. The waitress was very slow, we asked for drinks and we got them 20minutes later! The food was delicious as usual. It just seems that the restaurant is falling a little bit every year from it's higher standards."

"We love that the Opentable reservation was honored inspite of the long line as soon as we entered the restaurant for Mother's day. We only waited 2mins and we were headed to our table.
Service was excellent even if it was a very busy night. Our server was very attentive to our needs and checked on us before we even needed to call her. Steak doneness was spot-on and very, very tender. We also love the appetizer sampler which was big enough for sharing. We would definitely go back again if there's a special occasion to celebrate."

"We had a group of 14 for dinner. Using Open Table, we located the Black Angus nearby our hotel. The reservation was handled easily and confirmed quickly. Service was outstanding. All entrees were prepared as ordered and everyone enjoyed their meal. We would definitely return!"

"We had reservations,arrived 10 min early & was seated immediately.Our waitress,Tammy did not acknowledge us for 17 mins before she even offered to give us water.She put in our appetizer order & we did not see her again until after the bar delivered the app.for her to even take our order.She spoke about her sweating and going through menopause.Trying to make a joke.We got our lunch late.It was only burgers/sandwich.I told them it was my mother's birthday (76 years) & that I hope that there would be some singing(which usually happens at Black Angus.One reason I took her there.Instead she put down a cookie with ice cream and walked away.I sang to her myself.It's a good thing my husband paid the bill.I wouldn't have given her the tip he did."

"I love this place. We go often and the manager of the restaurant is starting to recognize us! The food is good and for the price you can't beat it. I like Texas road house also, but for the quiet ambience you get here its a lot better for special occasions or for nights you just want to sit and relax."

"Making a reservation on the internet was the slickest move I've made in a long time. My partner and I waited only five minutes for our table and the server was with us quickly. The restaurant was busy so we experienced a longer wait than usual for the appetizer. When the platter did arrive, I noted the spicy chicken sticks were chilly; the shrimp, loaded skins, and zucchini were appropriately hot or cold and were tasty. My prime rib and my partner's rib eye were prepared as requested and both tasted good. The dessert, cheese cake and strawberry sauce, was just fine. Our server, Patty, was attentive but not intrusive, friendly but not falsely so. The low point of the meal was the coffee: weak and tasteless, both cups were declined."

"took my wife for valentines day, I was emediatly taken to my table due to the reservation online option which is really great option now instead of first come first serve. the waitress was great, she wasn't always in our face but always on time for refills or just to make sure the dinner was going great. The manager even stopped by to make sure.

"I want to start with I made our reservations about the end of Jan for Feb. 14th, in plenty of time,for 7:30 pm. We got there at 7:15pm. We were told that it is about 30 minutes from our reservation time before we will be seated. I understand it was a busy night BUT the people who had reservations should go at their time, not 30 min late. They said they were putting walkins inbetween the reservations,and people were not leaving fast, thats why they are running late.The manager did not care.The manager said reservations guaratees you a table,not the time. WHAT?? We finally got seated about 8:00 in a booth, I requested a table. We complained , so we had to wait while they cleaned one off."

"We have been to Black Angus quite a few times and the main reason we keep going back is not only the food, but also the server Roy. He is the best server I've ever had and he's so good that clients from other Black Angus' that he's worked at have followed him to this location. Good food and great service, what more can you really ask for?"
