"Very friendly atmosphere and waitstaff. We had a groupon for a fixed price menu dinner for four. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. The servings are large, so we had a lot of leftovers, but we always do when we eat a three-course meal! Caprese salad, mixed green salad and creamy tomato basil soup were all delicious (soup not salty, which is always a concern of mine). Chicken and salmon entrees were terrific - the mixed vegetables were cooked perfectly (another pet peeve of mine) and there was just enough pasta on the side to round out the meal, remind you of Italy and ensure your satiety. We boxed two desserts and shared the other two because we just had to try them! :-) This is a great neighborhood gem."

"Nice unpretentious spot in the heart of La Jolla with very good Italian food and quick, pleasant service. My pasta fagioli and Fettuccini Bolognese with meatballs and my wife's risotto were all flavorful and the portions generous. You can pay considerably more in La Jolla, and not get better Italian food."
