The Tavern on Brady is a modern interpretation of the classic neighborhood pub. Chef Grant Vespasian’s pub-inspired cuisine represents only the best in local and seasonal ingredients. All dishes are developed using simple preparations that showcase the quality and flavors of each ingredient on the plate. The Tavern offers a well-curated list of artisanal beer, world-class wine and specialty spirits.
"The surroundings at The Tavern are great. Fun little place but you can still have a conversation. The food is not your standard pub food. Some great salads and the chef does some amazing things with interesting ingredients! I highly recommend it!"

"Most of the people in our party of 8 were local but had never been to The Tavern before. Everything we ordered was excellent, especially the Bacon Popcorn and the Angry Mac 'n Cheese - it had quite a kick!! We also thought the craft beer and wine list were extensive.
Our server was attentive and courteous and the ambiance was elegant - subdued colors, interesting art work on the wall (a few pictures even generated some discussion among the group), a place you could hang out in and be comfortable no matter what your mood.
All in all, we really enjoyed The Tavern and I'm looking forward to my next business trip to Tulsa so I can visit again."

"Service could have been better and probablyd due to large crowd; and if this is normal crowd than you need to add staff. Your noise question is very misleading because noise level is not energetic but is way too loud for even a party group to have meaningful disucssuion. The boiled carrots were too tough to eat but this salad could be very good if tough carrot problem is solved. For a table of seven persons two bottles of water are not sufficient and were not refilled. Group consensus is not to return."

"While visiting Tulsa, we found this gem for Sunday brunch and were very happy we did. Fun and yummy brunch cocktails to go with innovative, quality brunch offerings. Terrific service."

"We visited the Tavern with some friends from New England. They had heard of another downtown place that happened to be closed the night we were dinning. What a great experience for us! We had 8 in our party including one in a wheelchair. The table couldn't have been better for us. We ordered cocktails and the cheese board to start. WOW amazing. For meals we tried the filet and the Tavern Burger. Both were amazing. Then to top it all off we had the blueberry cobler. I think we could have eaten more of them. So perfect. The server was very helpful and made sure we were satisified in each course. Our NE friends now are thinking Tulsa might be the kind of food place for them. Great dinning!"

"Great family style chicken and catfish dinner served family style. Service slow considering this dinner is featured on Sunday evening, but at least it was attentive. Reservations were easy to get after an afternoon opera matinee, however restaurant was very busy when we arrived."

"The Brady Tavern Burger is excellent in taste and size. Another favorite of ours is the Challah French Toast. Mimosas are excellent but very pricey ($6) compared to other restaurants in Tulsa."

"It took much too long for our server to make his initial visit to our table to greet us and bring water. I had to flag him down too often for a restaurant of this quality. Otherwise, our meal was very good."

"As always, dining at The Tavern was wonderful. The cocktails are fantastic. My party had the Sunday night fried chicken dinner and loved it. I've had a number of dishes on the menu and all were executed beautifully."

"We love the atmosphere and location of the Tavern. The only suggestion we have is that the menu be expanded or changed. There are not a lot of varied choices."

"My husband had your hamburger and a salad. He liked his dinner and i tasted it as well and it was good.
I had the fish and chips. The breading was too thick and it was soggy; not good at all. I also had fried Kale which was not what I expected and should have asked about how it is prepared. It was terrible."

"The food was good with the only compliant being the portion size was too large. Some interesting dishes and innovative take on some old standards. The wine list was out of date and the first two bottles we ordered were not available. Overall, a good option in the Brady district. Very convenient to the hotel."

"Though we found the dinner menu very limited, we both ordered the fish & chips and were pleased with our selection. The battered fish was fried perfectly, served still piping hot, along with the classic, thin french-style pommes frites (french fries). The price ($20) was on the high side, as compared to other 'gastro-pub' fish & chips in Tulsa. We dined on the early side of the evening at 6:30pm, and the lighting was already dim, but shortly after we arrived, the lights were dimmed even further. It was very difficult to see what I was eating, and that greatly detracted from my enjoyment of the meal and the atmosphere.
I would like to see the Tavern not dim lights til 8PM or later and offer some tables with pin or spot lights."

"Great food, chef was willing to adjust menu ingredients to accomodate Kosher (no pork) dietary restriction, which was great. Mimosas and bellinis are delicious. They have coat check. The staff is really nice. Ask for a table at the window, the sun shines in and you can see people walking through downtown."
