"We had a reservation for 7 people at 5:30. It was not crowded, yet the service was quite poor. The waiter had no knowledge of the menu and he was trying to manage 4 tables at once. He wasnt even paying attention to me while I was placing my order. Some entrees came out before appetizers. Some people got their food long before others at my table. It was just a mess!"

"First of all, $7 bottomless mimosas in pineapple or pomegranate. Amazing. Food was great and it wasn't insanely busy (although it should be - it's amazing!). I'm dying to try dinner there. Should be far more popular than it is, give it a shot people!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our dinner. He had lobster ravioli which he liked very much. I had the octopus which was delicious. Then we shared the calamari, very good, but they used strips rather than rings which I prefer. The scallops were good but a little bit over cooked. The tiramisu was outstanding. We'd definitely go there again. The host is very friendly."

"Pretty and quiet with great food and very friendly service - the quinoa salad is outstanding. Reasonably priced. It truly is a neighborhood gem. Any time I take someone there, they always end up returning."

"The food was excellent... I picked this restaurant for a group of 8 people who had never been there and it was a hit with everyone. My only comment is that for a group of 8 they only had a long table and I always prefer a round table. They don't have round tables available. Also the music was a bit loud but when I asked to have it lowered it was not a problem. The owner came over and wanted to know how everything was... I always like a personal touch. I would go back again and soon..."

"Luigis is a great restaurant on Third street. The truffle Mac n cheese is a must. Also, their bottomless mimosas for lunch are great. A defiantly recommend this place."

"I will not shed a tear when Luigi's closes, as it inevitably will. The food was mediocre at best, and the service came with a curious amount of condescension, considering my wife and I were among the only patrons in the place. The meatballs were awful - rubbery and clearly microwaved. the pizza was fine, the amatriciana pasta was ok, spicy for the sake of being spicy, with little real flavor. The cheesecake was the highlight of the meal, even if it wasn't exactly fresh (and our waiter found the idea of asking whether the desserts were fresh laughable). A lackluster experience at best. I will not be returning to Luigi's. I'll just wait for the next restaurant to move in."

"This restaurant was becoming my new favorite, but the brunch was horrible. There must not have been any managers or the owner on duty and it showed. I brought 5 friends who had never been and they were all disappointed. I was embarrassed for hyping it up so much. Stick to dinner and you will love it, but the brunch needs a lot of work."

"One of the first signs should have been that we did not need a reservation and essentially just walked right in on a busy Saturday night.
Food was average at best. My wife makes better Sicilian meatballs, the ones we ate were flavorless. The pizza dough seemed to be lacking salt and made us wish we had taken out from Olio across the street. Linguine and clams were the highlight, but what restaurant can't make that? Portions are small, so the prices add up to the point where it's expensive for the quality of food you get. Service on the slow side.
Can't say we'll be back anytime soon."

"My husband and I both love this spot. Their dishes are always tasty and prepared perfectly. It's decorated adorably well, and it's got great ambience.
Only bad parts are they place the tables along the wall a little too close together, allowing you to hear the other tables' conversations, and the waiter we had the last two times doesn't speak English very well, making the ordering process not the easiest."

"Very disappointing. We were hopeful about having a new go to restaurant in our neighborhood, but will not be returning. Our tuna tartare was far too salty and when we ordered the grilled polenta, we were told that they only made 4 of them and the table across the way had already taken them. It was only 6:30 in the evening. Why have something on the menu that you're not prepared to offer your diners? The owner/chef apologized and offered us a complimentary tiramisu, but that did not do much to make us want to return."
