"Sunday brunch at The Saint was a fantastic experience. My wife and I both liked it very much. Highly recommended. Food, ambience, service, prices. All good."

"Went for brunch with a couple of girlfriends and had a fabulous meal - and experience. We had the scones (yum!) and the breakfast salad - both were really good. My only complaint is the lack of tea. No black tea other than earl grey. Would be nice for restaurants to recognize that there are those of us who get our caffeine from tea rather than coffee."

"My friend and I split the fried chicken thighs & the fish n chips. Very tasty & satisfying, New Age comfort food.mixed with market fresh veggies. Gotta love the trendy hot spot."

"Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, horrible service. After enjoying appetizers, my table was then made to wait over 1 hour for our entrees to arrive. Instead of acknowledging the wait and apologizing, our server ignored our table and the situation altogether, and failed to take ownership for the wait once the food finally arrived. Overall, the only way to describe the experience was awkward. Thankfully the food was amazing, but I won't be returning in the near future."

"We had a lovely dinner on a quiet Wednesday night at the Saint in one of their great retro club booths. We shared oysters and shrimps to start which were delicious as well as the huge Tomahawk steak and some sides. Everything was fabulous and our server was very helpful and attentive. I can't wait to return to the Saint."

"The food was great- although more description on the menu would have been helpful to prevent ordering so much food. With that being said though, the food was great. Cocktails to start the meal were delicious!"

"The waitress was very nice and friendly, great knowledge of all the food, specials and alcohol on offer. Unfortunately they were out of our desired appetizer of chicken wings, but our second choice of samosas were delicious! Our meals were all tasty (fried chicken, cheeseburger, and pie of the day) and very filling, none of us could finish so unfortunately no room for dessert. Funky and modern, but also laid back enough to have a hip sports bar feel."

"Classic dishes on this menu will not disappoint you. The food was very good and served promptly and hot! I would definitely recommend and go back! It is however quite noisy so if you want even moderate background noise, don't go. It's very energetic."

"Go for the potatoes lyonnaise and the scones. Table was spilt about the poached eggs; one said whites were not cooked enough. Bearnaise ordered on the side had been sitting in its pitchers under the heat lamp too long.
Service was friendly and efficient. We liked that the table was cleaned between courses, especially after the wonderful crumbly scones."

"We had a great meal, and everything was OK at The Saint. I love what they have done with the place, but it's a little "souless". It's short on DNA, to give it a distinct personality. And becuase of that, they are charging a littlt too much for "nothing" special". They need to figure out what they want to be ...soon! There are too many choices on Ossington.
Good luck. You've got the framework, it can be done!"

"I love the food at the Saint. And the staff are terrific. I would lower the music a bit. I had a hard time hearing my friends in the booth but otherwise a great restaurant be it just with my hubby or a group!"

"Went on a Sunday early - around 5:30pm. Quiet as it was before the dinner rush yet still lively - great energy level from the staff. We were seated in a booth facing the bar and our waitress was divine. She was friendly, knew her stuff and make fantastic recommendations when we told her what we were in the mood to eat and drink that snowy Sunday night. The Saint has a wonderful menu of savory food. We ordered the Fried Chicken, the Special of the Day - Short Rib Pot Pie - and the Wedge Salad with also the Brussels as a side. Just overall wonderful! We will definitely be back."

"My girlfriends and I (7 of us) went here for my birthday. Our first waiter was a total gem, super knowledgeable and he even plugged in my friend's iPhone behind the bar because he battery had died. The second waiter that took over was a little more scattered and had trouble answering our questions about the food and drinks. We ordered appetizers to start, the cheese pot, marinated warm olives and jalapeno poppers. All were amazing. Most of us ordered the steak afterward and again, nothing but praise there. Whoever was in the kitchen that night was on point and then some. I don't remember what my friends ordered to drink, but I had a couple of Old Fashions and they were really well made as well."

"Our party of 3 went on a Thursday night. We had an early reservation for 6:30pm. Firstly, the service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable about the items on the menu. He also went into detail about the cuts of meat with the special and with the orders that we inquired about. He was friendly and professional, which for me is the perfect combination.
My husband and I ordered the steak and fries and it was delicious. The meat was top grade and the fries were delicious. The only complaint that I have was that both our plates were over salted. I tasted pockets of over salting on the fries and on the steak that actually made it difficult to eat. Over salting is an easy thing to fix when the food itself is as good quality as it was here"

"I would call their cuisine upscale comfort food. Tasty cocktails esp the Darker & Stormier. I wish the menu included descriptions of side dishes with their main courses -- diners need/ want more information. The descriptions don't have to be precious, they just need to be listed. My pork & beams was way too salty which was too bad because the texture of each component was amazing. Pirogies were mighty good!!! I liked the room, atmosphere very much but wished the tv screens were not so blatant."

"First time at the Saint and I did not know what to expect. What I got was friendly, attentive and helpful service, an eclectic menu of varied and interesting dishes, and decent ambience. The Saint is not cheap, but it is worth a try."
