"Wentworth Grill is a quiet and "undiscovered" gem!!We love having dinner and now brunch in this restaurant.It is under utilized,never crowded - yet great food. We sat near and open window that looked out onto Wentworth and the tourists walking by,we enjoyed made to order omelets and made to order waffles and a breakfast bar that was fresh and delicious.(fresh fruits, yogurt parfaits, sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy, eggs and grits, homemade donuts).Juices were also included and I sipped on coffee while we enjoyed an early brunch after early morning Mass. I am a local and I love enjoying Charleston like a tourist.I never get tired of this amazing Downtown! (do not forget to look up the Restaurant.com coupons for the Wentworth Grill)"

"On a side street but not far from downtown Charleston, 20 minute walk. Food and service were very good, being a week day only three other couples in the restaurant."

"My wife and I discovered this restaurant on our last day and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with everything about it.
They were very accommodating with great service, creative choices of food and a beautiful room with large windows which provided relaxing atmosphere.
Although it is part of the Renaissance Hotel, it definitely doesn't give you the feeling of the typical hotel restaurant in any way.
We had crab sliders and a seafood salad. We both thoroughly enjoyed them.
We will definitely come back on our next visit."

"After reading several reviews that called this place a hidden gem, the wife and I decided to give it a try. Wow were we surprised at how good this place was. And having lived in the area for quite some time we were surprised that we've never tried this place. Everything was excellent for us during our visit. Our waiter was always there when we did or didnt need him and the food was great! The restaurant is elegant but not in a over the top flashy expensive kind of way. And the food, did I mention it was good?! Pan seared sea scallops and the rib eye steak is what we had. I know not everyone will have the same taste as us but we enjoyed our visit to this "hidden gem"."

"My husband and I enjoyed a fine dinner in the nearly empty restaurant. It was early evening. Maybe it gets busy later. My seafood pasta was quite good. Most generous portion. My husband enjoyed his salmon. Waiter was quite attentive. Bar outside the restaurant bustled. We enjoyed our table by the fireplace on a chilly and rainy spring evening.
With all the tables available in Charleston, I am not sure we would return. I would be glad to recommend Wentworth Grill to someone who will be in the neighborhood."

"This restaurant is a neighborhood gem, we were there on a Monday night and one of two couples, I cannot understand why there were not more people there! The waiter was extremely attentive, took special care to my fiance's request of a Manhattan and overall showed he really cared. The food was outstanding, I had pan seared scallops, my fiance' had the salmon, the Arugula Salad has the most AMAZING dressing and peppers on it. Sit by the windows when they open them up to the street. Killer Food!"
