"Black Angus was a Date night regular for my husband and I when we lived in Washington. We wanted to go the night before Mother's day and it was an 85 minute wait but on Open Table I found 4 open reservations. Even with the reservation we still had to wait 13 minutes but they were so busy and trying to accommodate everyone. Once we were seated the waitress was like superwoman running herself everywhere but taking time to talk to her customers. The food was delicious and she remembered everything including our extras plus we never ran out of drinks! Thanks Black Angus for making our first AZ experience a good one"

"This was my first time having good service at a Black Angus for starters.. I have had bad luck in the past at other locations but was willing to give them a chance again since I had a gift card. I was a bit dissappointed in the soups as they were VERY SALTY.. Both the Potato and the Steak soup. Also, my next complaint would be the pricing. I am a big fan of Outback Steakhouse and I find that the food is much better at Outback and is about 30-40% cheaper. So until I get another gift card again, I probably won't be visiting another Black Angus as I just don't see the value. Now if the food was much better or bigger portions then I could see charging more, but it isn't."

"Nice evening. We reserved for a party of six and asked for a table because we are all old and chubby. Reservation was acknowledged but we were placed in a booth. It was extremely uncomfortable so we asked to double-check on our seating preference. the error was quickly resolved and we were moved to a table with chairs. Our server was very good and the food was absolutely fantastic. This has become one of our favorite places to dine. My only negative comment is that it would be nice if your restaurant offered more tables and fewer booths or compromise and have tables that are half booth with chairs on the opposite side. You are very close to several large senior communities - give us better seating."

"This was the second time we have had to send food back at this location with a bad outcome. The first occasion they gave us the wrong size steak. This time the steak was tough and overcooked and did not bring shrimp that went with steak. Both times it took so long for them to bring out the new food ~ we gave up and told them never mind we didn't want it. The rest of the family was done eating when they finally brought the food."

"Food was very good but service was a little on the lacking side. At one point we did not see our waitress for about 15 minutes and we were looking for her. We did ask another waitress and she did find her. We also asked that our food be served spaced out and not all at once. We got our appetizer and salads within about a minute of each other and then the main coarse right after that."

"I was completely impressed with my whole experieance at Black Angus. I hadnt been to one of your restaurants in about 20 years. I happened to be given gift cards and was able to have the opportunity to try Black Angus again. I set up my reservation online and upon arriving we were greeted (by Bridgette and Megan) and seated within 5 min of our appointed time. Our waitress Ciara was absolutely amazing and made our visit a completely enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and exactly how we ordered it. As we were leaving we met with the manager Shawn O'Bray and complimented him on a well run restaurant. My mom and I love to go out to dinner when she is in town and we both agree Black Angus is now our firt choice."

"I used the web to make reservations for 2 for 8PM. I arrived 15 minutes early as suggested. 8:00pm came and went, the resturant was relatively empty, however we had to wait until almost 8:15 to be seated, unfortunate, as there were no other patrons waiting. Don't expect to be seated exactly at 8:00pm, but couldn't understand why we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Also, when the server discovered we had a coupon for dinner, her service faultered quite a bit. She never checked on us once we had our meal. We generally eat at BA once a month, minimum, one store for dinner and once for lunch. We'll continue to go back, but was not quite the experience we expected."

"Since moving to Phoenix in 2003, we have come to the Black Angus restaurants as often as our budget allows us..We are retired and wish is was possible to visit more often...It is one of two restaurants we eat at that cooks our steaks the way we like it...The other is in Michigan our summer home and is Branns...We don't bother going to any others because we are so happy with our meals at Black Angus..Love the service too..Every one of the waite staff has been wonderful"

"Where we were seated (in the bar area near the front door) was somewhat noisy. The food seemed to have taken longer than necessary considering it was a week night and the restaurant wasn't that crowded. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. The food was hot and tasty, the service was good and there was plenty of it."

"We went because we had a coupon for the Campfire Dinner for Two. We were delighted with our meal. The food was excellent. There was not one food item we did not like. Our waitress was very nice, albeit very busy as it seemed they might be a little understaffed. We have already recommended this restaurant to others and will definitely return."

"The only "negative" about our experience was that we were seated right next to the bar,and there happened to be 3 rather loud ladies enjoying some drinks. It was kind of hard for us to have a conversation without shouting at each other. The food was great, and our waitress was great, but the seating location left a lot to be desired."

"It was a birthday dinner for me and my wife arranged for a dessert with a candle ( NO SINGING!) We had a great time and our server was excellent (Alex). It was busy on Saturday but they take reservations and they were right on time. Good times!!"

"The food had no flavor! The steak was broiled and then put on the grill to make some grill marks. No seasoning at all. The kids grilled cheese was made with something rubbery they called cheese. The prices were so expensive for the quality of food served! We will never eat there again!"

"We had wonderful service and food as we have come to expect from the Black Angus. But we made reservations for Valentines' Day and still had a 45 minute wait when we arrived because the setting was so far behind schedule. I understand things happen but 45 minutes seems very long when you wait in a crowd of people who are also waiting. If it wasn't Valentines' Day (when all restaurants are full) we would have gone elsewhere for dinner."

"The food was excellent. However, the wait was not good. Had reservations and was seating 40 minutes after our reservations when they told us it would be 15 minutes because they were running late. They even began seating people who had reservations after us, before us, even though we were early and not late for our reservation. The wait was due to heavy crowd and special day, Valentine's Day. Waitress was excellent and food was very good. Wait, not so good."

"Arrived for my reservation at 8pm and was promptly told they were at least a 1/2 hour behind with all reservations. We went across the parking lot and ate are rock bottom. Was eating by the time we would have been seated."
