"I was drawn to Fushimi because I love shiny things, and Fushimi is nothing if not shiny. Glow-sticks under bowls of ice, crazy lighting, dramatic, kind of 80s decor—I love it! But while I came for the camp aspect, I stayed for the cooking. It's actually pretty good. The sushi is fresh and the other stuff is good too. Nothing earth-shattering, but if you feel like pretending you're an extra in "American Psycho," this is the place for you. (Note that I mean that in a nice way.)"

"You cant go wrong here! The food is excellent, Ive have been here so many times I can recommend anything they offer, and definitely try the mixed drinks. So yummy!!! Great ambiance for any occasion."

"Great dinner selections. Drink weren't the best. We tried 4 different drinks and weren't too please with them. I ordered a mojito and the ice and mint leaves were over flowing the cup! Not good!

We made an initial reservation at 8 and I thought I changed it to 9 and showed up at 9 pm but they still honored our reservation even with this misunderstanding so this have them extra points for having less than great drinks. The bar looked cool and had a decent crowd while the seating appeared to be full.

There are a couple of places where the attendees were taking pictures at so photo opportunities are good here to show off your outfits! We will return shortly as we enjoyed our meal there"

"I visited fushimi williamsburg after hearing great things about it from friends and family, me and my fiance visited the restaurant on a friday night and it was very busy, the bar was full and we had to wait about half an hour to be seated even with a reservation from open table. once we were seated our order was taken fairly quick by our waiter. We had the pork gyoza (dumplings) as an appetizer which was good and we both had the lobster medallion for our main course which was soooo good we ordered a second one to share. I would recommend fushimi if you dont mind a place thats always full, I think the food makes the extra noise worth it."

"The food was good but in very small portions. I was hungry when I left. The wait staff and the front of the house were a group of terribly awkward people. They didn't know how to describe the food on their menu and my guest and I were left parched the whole meal. It was almost impossible to flag down a waiter."

"My girlfriend and I made reservations with Fushimi on Valentines day. The menu was a 4 course meal and good portion. The angry dragon sushi was really good. Regardless it being Valentines Day, and plenty of other couples there, it was not noisy nor crowded. The waitresses and staff were very friendly as well. My girlfriend called to let them know we were running late for our 7:15pm reservations, they were kind enough to state that we have a 45min grace period before we lose our table."

"My boyfriend and I went the day after Nemo and that did not stop people from showing up. There was valet service which was a plus given the snow and trying to find parking. The food and presentation were great! They had standard rolls as well as some unique ones so it was different in it's own way. Their cocktails also have a twist. I love restaurants that offer things that others can not. I would definitely go back."
