"Wow, this was our first trip to the Final Cut and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The costumes in the glass cases were very cool and added to the unique Hollywood atmosphere. Air, our waitor, did a stellar job and was nothing less than top notch in serving us. Give that man a bonus! The food is amazing. The presentation is superb and very festive. It is like dining in a large city and you don't have to leave home to do it. Highly, highly recommend making a reservation and taking the time to check out the Final Cut. The chef even sent out a cute "gift" well, two gifts for the table. We had a very nice personal note put in our to go bag from Air. This is a definite repeat performance by our family. Thank you!"

"I just now "got" the name.. that's sad. Anyway, we really enjoyed our dinner there, celebrating our anniversary. Everything was outstanding. My only complaint is that I am one of those people who doesn't like salt. The steak seasoning was exceedingly salty to my taste. [they gave you a sample of seasoning and it looks like a flask of salt]. If the restaurant were *perfect*, they should have told me about the saltiness and given me the option to have it throttled down. Instead, it detracted from a truly outstanding bone-in ribeye."

"we enjoyed our first experience so much that we wanted to bring the parents back. My sister heard me talking to my parents about it and asked if her and her husband could join us too. The day before our reservation my son found out we were going he asked if he and his wife could also joy us. I was very pleased that they were able to change my reservations from 6 to 8. Everyone in our party had a great meal and loved it. we tell our family to get us gift certificates for holidays so that we can return more."

"the only complaint I had was the over cooking of my steak. You have the highest prices in the toledo area and with that people expect perfection. Your wait staff was awesome and apologetic and made sure I got another steak done to perfection. I place blame with your management. When mistakes likes this happen in a premier restaurant more should have been done to compensate the customer beyond redoing the steak and an apology from the wait staff who have no control over the situation. We then had the situation where my husband had his dinner for over 20 minutes and felt like he could not eat while I was still waiting. Not 5 star service."

"Our waitress was excellent. The food was disappointing. My husband had a steak which was sent back twice before it was cooked to his order of medium well. I had the halibut which was more like fish soup and the taste was less then desirable. I'd have to say the highlight of my meal was the chocolate martini and the after dinner french pressed coffee. We really enjoyed the casino so next time we will eat at the buffet and maybe head to Final Cut later for another one of those martinis ....Thanks for asking !"

"Excellent food and service. A real gem in the Toledo area. Food presentation was delightful. This is an expensive restaurant but well worth the money if you have the budget. We brought two guests who had never been there before and they loved it.
I would suggest a smaller filet of 8 oz to be available. The smallest one now is 10 oz and it's more than I can eat. If you want to go into the casino later leftovers is too hard to carry around. Restaurant will store until about 11pm but we usually stay past that time in casino area."

"I wanted to experience the "Final Cut" in light of the Forbes rating it received. While I enjoyed the experience overall, I'm not totally convinced that it was worth the money spent. The service was very good and I was pleasantly surprised by the staff diversity. I was also pleased with the overall ambiance, once we were moved from a booth that gave us a view of the wait staff service area and their backs as they placed orders & retrieved items. No one should ever be seated in those booths! I found the food to be very good, but extremely over priced. I was aware of the prices beforehand but felt that the portion/price were not compatible. I don't regret dining here, however, my curiosity has been satisfied."

"Overall great experience, Shauna?..is that the right name, did a very good job, very good hire on your part. Timing was good with delivery of food courses. additional support personnel handled table needs very timely. Steaks were awesome, potatoes just okay temp just warm not hot, green beans better than average. bread selections were a great touch. We added oscar to the filet and I had the ribeye, they were great, incredibly better than Ruth Chris and Rockwells of Toledo. We also go to Caesar's in Windsor which also takes a backseat to Final Cut. Your wine was very good ,but a bit expensive. We had a bottle of Bernardus pinot noir.

"When we arrived we were seated in a very large booth that was better suited for 4 or more people. Service was good except the waiter had our name wrong. We ordered prime steaks, medium rare, one filet and one ny strip. The filet was cooked perfectly but the strip was slightly overcooked or maybe on the very high side of the temperature range for medium rare.
We both felt that being in a large booth rather than a smaller one or a small table took something away from the ambiance of the restaurant as it did not feel very personal. Another major disappointment was the lack of attention to the suggested dress code. If you suggest business casual, tattered blue jeans should not be allowed. Kind if degrades the place."

"Overall this was the worst experience I have encountered. The waitstaff was wonderful. The food was terrible. For my multiple visits I think this has become my last time dining with Final cut. My steak was lukewarm and not prepared as requested. The veggies where wilted and overlooked. And the ribeye came out half meat half fat. Time to move on. My expectation is that I receive the same service and food every time."

"From beginning to end the experience at Final Cut was nothing short of amazing. each course was truly inspired and delicious. I highly recommend the Scallops and the Tatter tots to start. the steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the French press coffee at the end was an exquisite finish."

"Quite a relaxing place to have dinner. The food was extremely good, service was a bit slow, would have preferred not to sit and wait while watching our waitress walk around. The little extras for dinner set this restaurant apart from all the rest."

"After a recent positive reviews, we had a high expectations only to be disappointed with a high priced meal at a sub par restaurant. Issues are followed: 1. Ordered a 2008 bottle of wine and received 2009 vintage with no explanation - minor but should not happen at this calbier of restaurant. 2. Waiter had poor knowledge of wine selection. 3. Ordered $59 steak at chef cooking recommendation of medium and received steak at well to well done. 4.Returned steak but unfortunately side dishes were cold by the time new steak arrived. 5. Side dishes - lacked salt and flavor 6. Staff took plates away without asking and before we were done. 6. Ordered blue cheese butter received ?. Restaurant was half full on Sat Night - we now know why."

"While the food at Final Cut was good, it was certainly nothing that couldn't be found at other local eateries for a significantly lower price. The staff were very courteous and friendly, which made the experience enjoyable. Also, it was easy to forget that the restaurant was located in a casino. It was quiet and clean, not casino-like at all. As previously stated, the only let-down was the food, which was good, not great."

"I wish there was more than 5 stars to rate Final Cut! The chef had a small appetizer for us to try on the "house"...nice touch. The food is wonderful....the steaks are the BEST we have ever had. It is pricey but even the lowest priced filet is absolutely wonderful! Wait staff was so helpful.....we ate with a party of 4 and we all ordered a side of garlic potatoes...waitress suggested ordering 2 for table to share. Great suggestion...the "side" was a huge crock of garlic potatoes, most likely too much for one person....2 sides were perfect for the 4 of us! Wine/Drink list on an iPad...very cool. Great experience...can't wait to go again!"

"Please stop charging for soft drinks when they are free on the casino floor. I recognize not everyone that eats there gamble but you will not lose any money as most spend quit a bit of money before and after. I am considering not dinig anymore because of that"

"The food was excellent and equisite. Our server was perfect. There was no rush to eat. It was the perfect romantic dinner. My ribeye was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. The wine we had complimented everything we had. It was a wonderful night. I will be back!"

Overall, been there, spent $140/per PERSON (including tip).
