"My parents and I went to Villa Verone for Mother's Day. The food was great, however it was very nosiey and warm in the restaurant. We somehow ended up with two different servers, so it was a little difficult to know who was helping us. I would like to go back on a normal weekend (not a holiday or special occassion, like Mother's Day) and see what it is like."

"We love Villa Verone and go there for all of our special occasions. The history of the building is accentuated by the history on the walls of the Italian family who owns and runs the fantastic restaurant. The outdoor dining area is really lovely too. MUST have: the toasted ravioli appetizer with the meat sauce. It is FANTASTIC! Everyone we have taken to the restaurant asks for another order, so plan ahead and order double! All of the pasta dishes are to die for and we recently had the veal and it was amazing too. Fabio is the server we always request and he is theee best!! Thank you Villa Verone!"

"My wife and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary there in a quiet alcove.We wanted someplace special with good food. We live about 30 miles away and have been to Villa Varone before several time and we knew we would not be dissapointed. The wine list is acceptable and not overpriced. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.
Villa Varone is that special place for couples or for larger parties."

"Villa Verone is a quaint Italian restaurant that serves delicious traditional Italian food in a romantic friendly setting. the outdoor seating was unavailable because of rain but I would love to come back to enjoy that setting as well. The menu was full of traditional Italian meals, the portions were generous and the quality was excellent. The service was prompt, friendly and we were treated like friends. The decor is cute and a bit romantic as the setting is in a home converted to a restaurant. There is a nightclub, martini bar upstairs with live entertainment that we heard as we came it. It sounded like everyone was having fun. I would recommend this restaurant for date night or just with friends."

"Three out of four meals were very good but one was not so hot. Their soups are a disappointment. Noise level was very moderate but then we were the only ones on the first floor. I would imagine the noise level would be very energetic if others were in there. The service was very good and they did accommodate on changing out the one soup but its replacement wasn't a whole lot better. Love dining in an old house."

"We have been customers since they opened (mid-1990's). The food & drinks are excellent (consistent). The service is friendly,informative & non-intrusive. They are accommodating to special dietary needs/requests. Our waiter, Fabio, suggested selecting 3 or 4 appetizers family style. We chose the Rollatini-Di-Melenzane, Asparagi, Caprese, and Calamari. The Asparagi was the highlight, the Rollatini and Caprese were fresh and well balanced. The Calamari had a good taste, but was rubbery (pass on it). The salads were fresh and crisp and the soup was a hit. The entrees were enjoyed by all and several of us shared (no extra plates) because of appetizers, soup, and salads."

"Service was exceptional, as our waiter (Fabio?) was a seasoned professional with a complete knowledge of the menu, as well as perfect timing and attentiveness.
The calamari fritti was tasty and light, the wedge salad was delicious and perfectly sized for sharing. The ravioli were fresh and flavorful without being too heavy, and my date reported that the chicken marsala was perfectly prepared.
My only complaint was that the alcove where we were sat was very noisy. For some reason, the conversations from the two neighboring tables almost overwhelmed our own. And at various points, a television could be overheard which was quite distracting."

"Small quaint restaurant. Food was excellent and authentic. Food is made to order, so that you can eliminate a particular ingredient if desired. You can also if the dish was made with fish and you wanted chicken instead they could do that as well

"My girlfriend and I came here on a Saturday night for the first time. We were seated on time in an intimate section of the restaurant (as requested). Our waiter was outstanding (cant recall his name but with an Italian accent). He was attentive, funny but not overbearing. The food was superb. I had the chicken marsala and it was great. Bursting with flavor but light. My girlfriend had the penne arrabiata. It too was great. The flavor was just spicy enough and a very full flavor. It was a great experience."

"We love Villa Verone, the food is wonderful, the service not so much. If you are going with just a few people definitely ask to be seated on the main floor. The 2nd floor often has groups and it much too loud and the service staff is so focused on the groups that they forget about the smaller tables."

"Food was fine, good Italian, tilapia looked the best overall. and seafood stew, Cioppino, which my brother ordered. My dish not remarkable, but fine. I do not see Open Table reward for charging this on my SWA Rapid Rewards card either. Will check in a week. we were there w/six, on Feb 27, 3 birthdays to celebrate, so a large bill overall. separate checks were written per couple, tho. If we could bring our own wine, I'd like that better… Oh, the Martini, not so good, "sex on the beach" or something like that, not good. No complimentary dessert as far as I recall either."

"Took the family and the food was VERY authentic and a little on the expensive side. We had drinks and dinner for about 200 bones. Our waiter was very nice and had a very strong accent that just added to the authentic air that surrounds the place. Nice little hide away, very friendly staff and excellent service."

"Two special occasions brought us to Villa Verona. Dino, an exceptional waiter, provided spot on recommendations and exceptional personal service. Though a first visit, Owner Pietro made the entire experience welcoming and familiar. His charm and pride in his restaurant are clear, as he circulates greeting and chatting with his patrons. All dishes were prepared with the old world southern Italian tastes Villa Verona embraces. A true dining pleasure. The first of many visits to come."

"My wife asked if a certain dish was vegetarian and was told that it was. When she started eating, she discovered that it had tuna. The restaurant didn't handle the situation very well.
We have eaten here in the summer when we could eat outside. This was a better experience because the noise level is low.
It's so noisy inside you can't speak to the person next to you."

"I've herd so much about this place. Cozy, off the main street and easy to find, parking a little tough, we had a great dinner with great service. Wine choice by the waiter was perfect. I will be back soon."

"The food was very good, the service was adequate but the noise level was TERRIBLE! It actually ruined our evening. We literally had to scream to others at our table to be heard and we were only at a table of 5! Never again on a weekend that is for sure and would pass that tip on to friends who ask."

"Perfect spot for a lunch with high school friend, after 40 years. Great service...attentive and helped to make a special day evening more special. Comfortable small dining rooms, that could be noisy during dinner but our mid day lunch it was perfect."
