"The only critique I have would be on the fact that the table I reserved wasn't ready until about 20 minutes after the reserved time. Other than that, great staff, wonderful view, and excellent food! I am looking forward to going back to try the rest of the menu :o)"

"I took a group of visiting family and received rave reviews on my choice of restaurant, Thank you World Famous! I just love the Lobster Bisque and make a point to have it every time I go but I was told that the eggplant fries were very tasty as well as the Portabello Ponzu Wrap and I noticed that none of the fish and chips were left on the plate either.
Our server was attentive and happy and the view was gorgeous of course. All in all a lovely lunch."

"We enjoy eating at World Famous and have for years. This time the menu was different and it seemed the food presentation was more elegant too. We often go for their delicious hamburger but this time we didn't see it on the menu so we switched it up. Both the crusted yellowfin with jasmine rice and the grilled salmon with Mac n cheese were delish. The sides portions were smaller than we expected but we were full anyway. The lobster bisque wasn't "on" that night but we will continue to have it-it's always been one of the highlights of eating at World Famous. The wine selection was very satisfactory. The waitstaff is friendly and appropriately chatty and we love the view-we always try to sit on the patio. Will continue to recommend."

"Over all not bad... But service was really bad... Since we arrived there we had reservation and still we need to wait for be seated... The waitress was in hurry all the time... She even took forks out and let us with the dinner with out forks. She didn't comeback for a while and we need to call the wash disher to get some fork for us... And the worst things was that they took the dishes before we finish with our meal with out ask!!! Maybe bad luck or maybe the way the restaurant is!!! Is just a single customer review!!!"

"My friend and I had a delicious lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the view. We are two "ladies who lunch" every Wednesday and try to find great places to eat each week. World Famous was definitely a find. Being right on the beach is such a pleasure, and the weather was wonderful. Sunny skies and blue ocean - what more could you want? We both said that we would take our husbands back there in the future. I'm sure that dining during the day or night is equally as enjoyable. Glad we went."

Visiting from a 20 degree Indiana, I appreciated the outdoor propane heat while dining in 50 degree San Diego. But I am baffled that this is the same California where there is a such a concern about drilling or pipe-lining for more fuel in the United States. Millions of BTU's off every corner, outdoors, seems a little contradictory."
