"I went there for Mother's Day, The food was defiantly not that good. I had a pasta dish and the sauce was so so sweet . Then I had a lemon scampi sauce and that was just overbearing with lemon. The other two dishes that my family ad were semi okay! This place has surely changed and not for the best."

"We love this place. Never a bad meal. Normally we have apps, pizza, drinks and just socialize. This time we were celebrating my birthday and had dinner. Great. We will definitely try dinner again.it was a romantic feeling but I can definitely see bringing the kids and feeling comfortable in another area of the restaurant as well."

"My wife and I went to Grotto because of Restaurant Week. We had never been there before and it was a delightful experience. The server, Audrey was fantastic. The restaurant was very busy but we were never neglected. The food was excellent and served in a timely fashion but the best thing was the Strawberry Cassata they served as one of the desserts. We want to go back just for that."

"Went for restaurant week menu before a show. First course was limited to tamato basil soup or caeser salad, while all four of us had. It was tasty, and I am not a big caeser salad fan. There were four entree options: veal, salmon, shrimp and chicken. Between us we tried all four, and each was excellent. Strawberry cheesecake and tira misu were only dessert options. Cheesecake slice was enough for two easily, and was good. Tirs misu was made with real marscipone, but the cake was a little dry. All in all a great dinner. We will return."

"The Grotto is in the middle of the slots in the Golden Nugget so it's nothing if not convenient. The waiters ran around so much and so fast that it was a little bit difficult to feel relaxed. The service is excellent but at a little bit of a price. The Grotto has a complete menu for an Italian cuisine. The food was good but not special which for the price and convenience was OK. They have 1/2 bottles of wine which is always nice since it gives 2 people each a glass of wine plus a little bit more. I plan to check out the other on-site restaurants before going back to The Grotto."
