Hiro Sushi is an up-scale Pan-Asian restaurant in West Omaha. Serving some of Omaha's best sushi along with award winning Chinese food we have something for everyone's palate. We offer an extensive selection of sake, wine, beer and liquor.
"I like the ambiance and the food at Hiro 88 in the Old Market a little better than the west location after two recent visits here. It's not bad, just not as good as Old Market in my opinion. And the west location seems to be more casual as well."

"The Wasabi Stinger was amazing. The staff was great. Will return to experience more delicious food. Took my husband there for his b-day, the staff couldn't have been more helpful since we hadn't experienced this type of food."

"Was highly recommended for sushi and we left disappointed. Walking past the wait staff prep counter as we were seated in the dining room was akward. Took a long time to be waited on and then another 45 minutes to be served. Edame we ordered tasted frozen and defrosted rather than fresh. I wanted a side dish of udon noodle soup and my husband wanted a side dish of lo-mein noodles. Only way to get both was as a full meal. We also asked for brown rice rather than white and they did not have. Side salad was simply a handful of field greens with dressing. High cost for little value. Sushi rice was dry and fish was mushy. They offer a sushi combo option which we considered; however, it's chef's choice and we'd rather choose what we like and want."

"Hiro offers a delicious combination of Japanese and Chinese dishes, The sushi, negiri, and sashimi are outstanding, I would highly recommend the spicy edamame, spicy yellowtail, and peanut butter chicken. Hiro is very accommodating with food allergies. It has a terrific gluten free menu. The service is always top not notch. The restaurant is very kid friendly. It is outstanding in handling groups (large parties). Great for date night or family night."

"Our waiter was extremely annoying. Even though we have been coming to Hiro for years, he treated us like we were children who had never ordered from the menu and kept hovering over our table and interrupting our conversation. I understand he thought he was being attentive, but it got to the point we were afraid to make eye contact with him. The food was amazing as usual, but the service left alot to be desired."

"We have been going to Hiro since their opening 9 years or so ago, and each time their menu is consistent but evolving. We love this place, and will continue to do so!"
