"our recent visit to food and table was truly one of the best meals and dining experiences we have had in a long time. this place is a real gem. the food was carefully prepared and the combinations of ingredients were inventive and delicious. sitting on the patio, we had stunning views in all directions: the sandia mountains at sunset to the east and the lush garden fields to the west, plus the lovely fountain and plantings all within the patio itself. gorgeous! we will be back for certain."

"Must we alway wait with a reservation, that has been my experience the six times I have had a reservation very discouraging. I used to rave about the food ambiance and service, this last experience has me recommending a drink and appetizer then hit the road for your main coarse that will leave you feeling satisfied without burning a hole in your pocket."

"We went for Sunday brunch and had a 12:30 reservation. IT TOOK FOREVER. OMG. The manager was very nice and came around to smooth things over. He KNEW he had a problem. It was explained that for Sunday brunch by 12:30 they exceed the capacity of the kitchen. ("Come early next time!") When the food came we had three orders of enchiladas & eggs and 1 BLT. The enchiladas & eggs were fine. Not spectacular, of course diminished by our mood. The BLT was dried out with burned bacon. We complained and the manager said "I'll take care of it". He brought my 11 year-old a sumptious burger! It was cooked perfectly: medium- medium rare. He knew what to do. With his effort, the reputation and menu we will give dinner a shot some day."

"Our recent dinner at Farm and Table was over the top wonderful! Service was fantastic and food was amazing!
My husband and I sat outdoors over looking the farm and watched the sunset. Everything we ordered was
prepared perfectly and every bite delicious! The owner/chef came over to our table several times during the evening
to check on us and make sure that everything was okay. Very nice :-) We made a reservation for a future dinner
while we were there and can't wait to go back ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!"

"We had heard about Farm and Table from friends and decided on a whim to go. We checked the reservations and saw that there were none until the following Wednesday! We decided to just drive by to see the restaurant and farm (beautiful!!) and luckily when we re-checked the reservation there was an opening for 15 minutes later! We had a lovely glass of wine on the front porch, toured the farm, and then had a sumptuous, fresh delightful dinner. We were wowed! Terrific staff and tremendous food! Perfect date place!

"My two girlfriend's and I went there on a Saturday night to kick off Girls Night Out. The food was exquisite. The service was fantastic. Our only regret was that we hadn't specified outdoor seating in our reservation request. Their patio was lovely and we will be sure to sit out there next time. Can't wait to go back!"

"This was my fourth trip to Farm and Table - it was wonderful to begin with and has gotten better and better and better.
The food was beautifully presented and had a combination of flavors that was highly original, every taste made us sigh with pleasure.
The maitre d' was beyond charming, chatting at each table and making sure your dining experience was special. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and fun, all our needs were attended to expertly and with a pleasant wit.

"WE were two couples. The three of them ordered the chicken dish and seemed to enjoy it very much. I had the halibut cheeks and was quite underwhelmed by the flavor which was bland. I do like more than two strands of spinach considering we are at a farm and table restaurant. The pork belly was a disappointment. The meat was tough and unlike what was on the menu previously that would have me coming back for that outstanding flavor."

"I had always been a fan of the brunch at Farm and Table so when My birthday was coming up I invited my very good friends (13) to dinner to celebrate. I always heard great things about the dinners and chefs on hand to prepare these incredible artistic plates. I was not disappointed ! We ordered the best wines (recommended by our waiter) paired with the best dishes! We ate the best deserts and were not disappointed! The food and wine experience was enough to make this celebration a notable one. I very much appreciate the owner (Joseph) coming to check on us and serve us as well. I look forward to the next dinner. I am big time foodie and so I search out the best and unique and this has to be the best in this region! With out a doubt!! *****"

"Parts of the patio just aren't shaded enough. We left early for that reason. I am very fair and should have insisted on deeper shade or asked to be seated inside. (I did mention that I wanted to avoid the shade but was still given a table that was filtered sun at best.)

In the past have ordered the sausage with brunch from the sides. Whatever that sausage was - think it had goat cheese in it - was awful. Never had anything quite like it."

"Food with veggies from on-premises & locally-sourced purveyors is quite good. Our service, however, is worth noting for its extremes; attentive at times, and obtrusive at others. Staff asked to remove plates while diners were still actively eating...three times in five minutes. No, we weren't lingering. Such service was beyond odd, and ended up being the most discussed part of our group's experience, eclipsing the restaurant's more positive attributes."

"It was my second time and I was not disappointed. We were greeted graciously and seated outside as I had requested. Our waiter was very nice. "We were very surprised by the poor quality of the dinners we both ordered. The halibut cheeks were dry and stringy and the saffron sauce had a bitter undertone. The lamb had little flavor and the sauce was unexciting. We talked with two friends who went there for dinner the same week that we did and they had similarly unexciting reports of their meals. We all felt that the ambience is lovely and the service is good, but to pay that kind of money for food that is unexciting at best makes us all think we may not go back anytime soon."

"We dined on a busy Friday night. I felt that for the price, I was disappointed. I did not feel that our entre's were hot enough to have just come from the kitchen. I also thought the food was bland. I guess I had expected more as everyone seems to love this place. We may give it another shot to be fair to see if another time will change our minds. Service: mediocre, indifferent attitudes, long wait times, wouldn't accommodate seating request, when they say that they strongly discourage requests to alter dishes, they mean it! An awkward choice for older folks with dietary restrictions who don't hear so well.

"We went to this restaurant for dinner on Wednesday night. I ordered the special vegeterian dinner which we very told had a mild sauce. Mine unfortunately had a sauce that made the food ineditable. When I told the waiter, Julian, he brought over a napkin saturated in water and lemon to wipe off my food. He said when he tasted the food his had very little sauce on it. He said the next time I come in he would make it up to me. Really.......very poor handling of a situation. Also, we asked him if they had a children's menu and he said no so we ordered an expensive entree which the 2 children did not eat. When we again asked him what other people do he said he usually gets them grilled cheese and french fries.
Recommend for brunch not dinner."

"We arrived and were immediately seated. Unfortunately, our server said our ticket for food was pushed to the back in the kitchen. Result was we waited at least 30-45 minutes fr our food. We ordered the tenderloin which was good but I thought the toast and eggs could be warmer. Price point good. All servers were professional. Waiting so long put a damper on the overall experience esp since our first time."

"First off, there is no better locale for a quiet, beautiful ambience. The restaurant looks out on fields and its personal greenhouses and planting beds. The courtyard decor is very soothing and somehow, even though there are quite a few tables, it is a very quiet dining experience. We would recommend it highly from this perspective.
We are foodies and kind of snobbish. The mussels we had were fabulous. The combination of citrus and beer (!) was unique and really flavorful. As to the entrees, the house pasta was a tad anemic. My husband makes ours in-house and it really is a better product."

"They were busy so the service though polite was poor. We ordered soup and salad and it took an hour to get our food. The soup was very thin without much flavor. We have eaten there many times and usually the food is great but the service is deteriorating over time. I love the local foods and the organic nature. I hope it was just a bad night."

"Albuquerque is a very unique place compared to most medium to big cities in the country. With that said Albuquerque is decades behind the rest of the country in infrastructure in all aspects economically to socially. However with that said, this restaurant stands out among what our city has to offer. If you have any type of genuine taste or class you will appreciate everything this restaurant has to offer. P.S. Order the duck if is is on the menu!"

"This was a great find---food was excellent, service was friendly and efficient. We were seated close to the service pick up which made for more traffic (waiters) and more noise, but were still able to carry on a conversation. The restaurant was originally going to be a coffee house and still had the charm of a smaller, rustic place. Our party had the duck and the lamb, both very tasty and well-prepared. Appetizers included a kale and mushroom empanada and a gourmet selection of cheeses. We washed it all down with a well-chosen red Italian wine. Dessert was equally good, a flourless chocolate cake. I will definitely return, maybe try the patio when it's warmer. Parking is very limited, but the staff had suggestions for nearby street parking."

"This restaurant is such a great find. The food is wonderful and focuses on local ingredients and produce. The ambience is cozy and feels special. The fireplace inside is lovely and the patio seating outside is beautiful on a nice day. Great wine list with options from France, Spain and the US. Love this place!!!"

"Along with more traditional fine dining menu options, this place has all of the techniques and ingredients that you've seen on Food Network and been wanting to try! Delicious apple foam and caviar topped scallops; melt in your mouth halibut cheeks; incredibly tender and crispy braised pork belly! Oh, and you will be pleasantly surprised by a very well-selected budget-conscious wine list. Someone took their time to find the best wines under $50 for sure!"

"I loved that some of the food was grown there, and a lot of it is local. I went to a similar restaurant recently, and Farm and Table was about half as good.

I did not want the sauce they put on the meat, but without it the meat was bland. I did not like the sauce, but I ate it because without it the meat was not worth eating. They also served the tenderloin as one large chunk of meat, tenderloin medallions would be better.

We got a salad that was delicious.

Many items on the menu seemed overworked and what I ordered was centered around some sauce that I didn't like. Some sea salt and pepper on the table would have helped.

I expect to pay a premium for high quality food, but for the price I expected it to be prepared better."

"This establishment is a gem. The food is fresh, from local suppliers and was exquisitely prepared. Whether you are a meat-eater or a vegetarian, there are plenty of choices on the menu. "The duck breast and halibut cheeks were delicious. We wanted to give dessert another chance. This time we ordered the ice cream- lemon chiffon, chocolate, and strawberry. It was a warm night so this was perfect. Our favorite was the lemon chiffon. The chocolate was a bit gooey and the strawberry fit the bill. Outdoor dining was in full swing and it was definitely a perfect evening to dine outdoors! We'll be back again for sure!"

"Over priced and underwhelming the food wasn't as fresh as it should be considering it was local. They were out of many of the items on the menu. Our waiter was too involved in our dining experience and very scattered as he waited on the surrounding tables. For the price and location I will not return as there are many other restaurants in the area that are pushing the food boundaries much further than Farm&Table is capable of."
