The Woodside Lodge is located on the back side of Spring Mountain. It was built in the early 1920's and is the last standing Inn among several that catered to that periods travelers who came by train to Schwenksville to escape Philadelphia 's summer heat. Our vision is to restore the Woodside Lodge to the wonderful meeting place that so many travelers and locals remember. Our Menu is Upscale American Comfort Food. We have Soups, Salads, Starters, Light Fare (Sandwiches), and delicious Entrees ranging from 14.99 to $26.00 that include House Salad, Bread Basket, Chef's Choice of Vegetable and Choice of Buttermilk Whipped Potatoes or Chef Michael's Famous Vermont Cheddar Stuffed Potato Cake!
"We had a great Mother's Day Brunch. Good selection of food, great tasting. They did not pack more tables in like a lot of places do for Holidays. Will go back for regular dinners."

"Seated right away. Waitress greeted us promptly and asked for drink orders. Drinks arrived quickly and she told us to head up to buffet and hurried off. As she was walking away, asked her if they were making omelettes, which I knew they were because was posted on line. She never mentioned them at all. The omelette ended up being very good. The buffet food was good, not great. She checked on us again and did ask if we would like anymore drinks, which we did since all of our glasses were empty. By the end of the brunch, we had plates stacked high and empty glasses that she never removed. The bill was presented as we were still eating. I would like to go back for the outdoor seating, but was not overwhelmed with this experience."

"We were very surprised at the quality of food and ambiance of the Woodside Lodge. I don't think the pictures on the website do the place credit. The food was very good. I ordered the salmon with mashed sweet potato, and my meal was excellent. The kitchen was a little slow, but the service was great. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We will go back."

"The experience was just average. The server was nice but over-extended. Some of the other servers didnt know the beverage lists. The food was average and adequate. Nothing really stands out for me it was just an ok experience."

"I took the wife and two kids for dinner on a Wednesday, which is 1/2 price hamburger night. Everyone choose the burgers which come with a ton of choices for toppings. Everyone was happy with their selections and the food was prepared perfectly. Our waiter was a bit scattered, but not to the extent of ruining our experience. For a casual dinner with the family it was a pleasant experience. My wife and I plan to go again to sample the rest of the menu."

"A delicious Valentine's Day dinner with three great entree choices and special touches such as complimenetary champagne, fresh flowers on each table and a chocolate candle to take home. We'll be back for sure."

"we had read the positive reviews written about the Woodside Lodge and since we are local to the area, we were excited to try this new restaurant. The place was bright and not that cozy, the bar sat in the middle of the foyer and when we sat at the bar, the wait staff stood right in that area and talked with no regard to the patrons around them. The wine list is meager at best and a decent beer selection. Some good food items, but the Bouillabaisse came with Fried calamari which in a broth, became mush. the server never asked if we needed another drink. I can tell you, we won't be back!"
