Pizzaiolo are craftsmen whom dedicated their life to the perfection of pizza. Over the years many of the old school pizzaiolos in New York and beyond retired and /or sold their pizza shops. With their departure, the craft of the pizzaiolo was fading., being replaced by chain pizzerias and minimum wage pizza assembly lines. Our mission is to keep the craft of the pizzaiolo alive. We adhere to the principles of any great pizzaiolo whom laid the ground work before us; to never take shortcuts and to make the pizza the way that it is supposed to be made, and to produce the same type of pizza and flavors that you would get in Naples. To educate the non-foodies of the world and support local farmers whenever possible.
"V Lounge is in a bar so the ambiance is not that great. However, the food is top notch. Imaginative and excellently executed appetzers and pizza. Memorable appetzers: bruscetta with prosciutto topped with mango, grilled avocado, cauliflower topped with pesto. Members of my party loved the pizzas: the mushroom, primavera, and chicken special. I can't eat cheese or tomato so I ordered proscuitto, arugala, olives topped with an egg which was surprisingly great. This place us a gourmet winner."

"It's not a great looking place but has good pizza and cheap drinks! It shared space with a bar that gets crowded late Friday and Saturday nights. Other times its open for dinner and good place to go. I have seen groups and dates here."
