Since 1986, Casanova Italian Restaurant and Deli is at the heart of the lifestyle of Upcountry Maui. "Awesome always, it was busy...fathers day. Food is always great and kids get to make their own pizza! We always request sitting down near the dance floor so kids can dance. (Turns into a dance spot late night on weekends) I recommend Casanova to anyone that appreciates a good Italian meal, home cooked, great fresh fish...."

"We were ushered right in at our reservation time, and were shown to a very nice table. The view out the back window was into a very colorful and delightful garden area. The food was well-prepared and presented, and I really enjoyed the appetizers (4 different bite-sized ones at each place-setting). Portions were just right and tasty."

"My wife and I ate at Casonova's in Makawao for the first time earlier this week. It was "date night" and our children were at home with a sitter. We looked forward to trying the restaurant and enjoy a romantic evening out. We had reservations for 6:30 p.m. on a Monday night. While the restaurant lighting was nice (not too bright and not too dim), the noise was surprisingly loud. We had to nearly shout the entire time we dined. Acoustics are not good for quiet dining.
The food was good. The quality, flavor, and presentation of the food was appealing. We will go back, but not for a quiet meal.

"For starter we had the Tuna Capaccio which was good.
The pizza had to much cheese on it for my taste. One of the toppings was a kind of sausage which tasted mediocre.

"Excellent Italian restaurant! Reservations are a must! Seems like a long way but really 10 - 15 minutes from the Airport. Maybe 25 minutes from Kihei.
Oso buco was excellent and spinach salad to die for."

"Food's tasty, service very good. It's nice that it was easy to adjust a few orders to to suite our needs..ex: olive oil instead of butter, omitting certain foods adding others.
