"We reserved with open table for 1015pm. We arrived at 950pm and waited until 1115pm for our table with almost no response from the managers. The place was not full at all. They seem to be very distractive and not paying attetion to their work. Also, we requested a terrace table and when we got the table it had a unbalanced leg and had to ask to move to another table. At the end they apollogize since we had to complain and express our insatisfaction. They need to improve their service really bad."

"We went to Villa Azur for a special birthday dinner for my sister's 30th Birthday with a large group of 10 women. The restaurant was more beautiful than expected.
The Maître d' host was fantastic! (I feel bad that I forgot his name) He made us feel so special and tried his best to set a beautiful table outside, however the weather in Miami was not cooperating and the rain never let up so we sat inside - which was not a problem.
The food was good and the service was impeccable. I would definitely come back here and look forward to having a romantic dinner."

we started with the burrata which I strongly recommend I also had some oysters which where very fresh. We had the chateuabriand which was extreemly tender and juicy!! we also had the special which was linguine in parmegian cheese and trufles my mouth just waters writting about this!!!! we had the brunello de montelcino which was exquisite ! the attention to detail and caring for our dinner was Impecable!!! Sebastian the Manager deserves a five star for our great night we where a party of 8 and we turned into 9, no problems accomodating us angel and a french lovely girl. made our dinner experience fabolous!! keep up the good work this is my favorite spot!!"

"The restaurant itself is aesthetically if very nice. The service is good at best. The tables are very close to each other and if you are a non smoker with a table on either side smoking it is annoying while trying to enjoy your meal. The food is mediocre and the pricing is extravagant. I live in New York and travel the world and to pay $300.00 for dinner for two without wine, for a mediocre (at best) meal is over the top. Once you surpass $100.00 per person the respective restaurant should be offering something exceptionable."

"My husband and I were looking for a great French restaurant for our 6th anniversary. We found it at Villa Azur, waiters and barmaid speak French and are real French people ... but nice:)
I took the Foie Gras and it was excellent. My husband took the calamari (not so French) and liked it. we continued with fish and were both very happy.
The sommelier recommended a wine that met our tasting but surprised us. We went with his recommendation and were honnestly surprised how good the pairing with meals was.
We were not as satisfied with the dessert as my husband was looking for a Creme Brulee and the profiteroles were too different than the classic version.
We received this outstanding food with outstanding service in a fantastic place."

"I loved villa azur! Loved the decoration the ambience the music was authentic and excellent. The hostess was very welcoming and adorable sebastian was the manager was really good and nice our waiter was the only bad side of the whole experience He was very rude and in a bad mood i didnt get his name his french skinny blond and young but the whole table agreed that the only thing about the restaurant that we Didn't like was the waiter :( Otherwise it is a greatPlace to bring a date family friends or even business... I recomend the burrata with truffles, the cote de boeuf and the ile flottante !!! Delicious the music was very authentic and the ambience is adorable I would definetely recomend it !"

"I made a reservation 2-3 weeks ago, asking for a nice table because it was a special occasion. When we arrived last saturday, the table was the opposite I had asked for. It was almost hideen and out of the ambiance. The night was really cold and they didn't have a heater for us. It was impossible to be there.
The good part of the story is that they realized that I was really dissappointed and tried to solve the problem efficiently.
We had to wait for a while in the middle of the place but, fortunately, the result was great. It did worth it."

"the setting is very interesting and the noise level deafening given that there is an in-house dj keeping the music happening. If one is interested in talking, this probably isn't the place to go. The service was friendly and totally unfocused and uncoordinated. Once food finally arrived it was quite good and management was apologetic. Given that the music was great for dancing, we stayed and danced after dinner! Servers were careful not to run into us as we danced by the bar(there really isn't a good place to actually dance)."

"this place has great Ambiance and the service was good. Even the prices were not bad. However i had the Veal and it was tough and my friends fish was undercooked. they had to recook the fish, by that time i was done with the veal. neither of us finished our meal. I would go here for drinks and to socialize. would not eat here again. Have fun!!!"

"The first time I went the food was good and the second timei ordered the same thing because it was so good the first time and it was only so so, my three other dinner companions did not enjoy their food at all. The whole Bronzino was mushy and very overpriced. And the veal was so overlooked and cold. And the martinis were served only half full. Place is fun but not worth the money. Also the desserts were a total bore"

"My wife and I went for Valentine’s Day. The Restaurant was full and staff was a little rushed but our waiter was great. The food may be the best in Miami. House made Foie Gras is perfect; Scallop Carpaccio with shaved Black truffles is my new Favorite. Special fish that night was a whole Turbot from the Mediterranean. I have never seen Turbot on a menu in the USA. It was prepared perfectly tableside. Villa Azur is also the most beautiful restaurant on the beach. Overall an absolute perfect choice for a romantic night"

"The most enchanted courtyard in south beach and delicious food! The artichoke salad was amazing and plentiful, the octopus with sweet basil tomato, mixed green salad and lemon sauce that my husband took was perfectly cooked with the perfect blend of flavor. The steamed Sea Bass is one of the best that I have ever ate, tender and tasty. The veal scallopini in a lemon sauce was amazing.
The service was attentive and friendly. I can say that this place is definitely a gem in Miami. Don't miss it."

"This was an amazing evening at Villa Azur in Miami Beach; I have been to many restaurants before and first off let me say this was hands down the best one i have ever been to. Every one that works here is so knowledgeable and helpful, they're always spot on, and never tried to push the pricier options on me.
The restaurant was absolutely amazing! You walk into an amazingly classy room, beautiful looking space; the fixtures, the lighting and the decoration are gorgeous.
If you're looking for something other than “ordinary” this is a great place to dine.
Nice tables and couches a fire pit by the wall, beautiful well-dressed hostess to great you. And all of that is just the waiting area, after that you go in for your great dining experien"

"I visited Villa Azur with my boyfriend for his birthday and all I can say is WOW!!! from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly hostesses who gave the option of having a drink at the bar or seating straight away which we did. The romantic décor and charming outdoor garden added to a comfortable and relaxed evening. The waiter was very polite and gave suggestions and recommendations. I chose the seared fresh tuna with avocado and baby spinach to start and it was perfect. For my entrée the 12oz ribeye steak that I asked for medium rare was cooked perfectly, extremely tender and filled with flavour. For dessert the waiter arrived with a beautiful birthday cake with sparklers and the staff sang happy birthday along to music. PERFECT"

"They welcomed us at a table with wet chairs because of the afternoon rain!! We ordered a chateaubriand and they have given to us a peace of fillet probably microvawe cooked, dry, with a lot of blood in the dish and made not with the hart of the fillet but with the head !!! People was very kind but it is not sufficient for us to come back!"

"This was a very disappointing restaurant exerience. We had a wonderful dinner at Villa Azur last year and came again with our family. The meal was tepid, dry, lacking savory quality or interest.and some dishes with substitute ingredients. Our waiter had just started so didn't know the menu.
The stuffed veal filet mignon was dry, the branzino was a bland and flavorless, the xxl rib eye was cut very thin and was so fatty, half was inedible...and it was served lukewarm.
A pile of mesculen greens were substituted for the hearts of lettuce salad I ordered. Limp and under dressed salad without interest. My brother-in-laws appetizer was served in a side dish bowl....it had no plating technique and looked completely unappealing. Wine was good"

"Everything was absolutely beautiful! Sitting outside in the courtyard under the stars with a very pleasing mix of music from the DJ was an excellent experience. The food, grilled baby octopus, Truffle ravioli, seared tuna, Brandino, and fabulous desserts, was all cooked to perfection and served professionally. Good things come at a price so dinner for two with two bottles of Sancere and the automatic 18% tip was $440 but worth it."

"We had a wonderful experience with visiting friends. From start to finish, we experienced excellent service. The decor is fabulous, which speaks for itself, but it was a pleasant surprise that the food (omg sea bass! Nutella mousse!) and the service were equally as lovely (we heard mixed reviews before trying it ourselves). Moreover, our accompanying friends' baby sitter cancelled last minute and the manager/ staff perfectly accommodated the sleeping children in their stroller, which many high end restaurants in south beach would have sneered at. DJ was playing great music which really kept things lively - in a good way - and didn't overpower dinner conversation (we were seated on the opposite end of the restaurant from the bar)."
