"Food was very good. Pistachio crusted flounder could have used a sauce - bland nut and bland fish do not a great pair make. Special of the night was catfish and we realized later that we never got the hush puppies that were supposed to come with it; however the fish itself was tasty. Server (Julie?) was excellent - very attentive, but not overbearing."

"My wife and I celebrated our 52nd. anniversary with our old time neighbors in Marietta at Chicago's. It was our first visit, although our friends knew it well. We moved away from Marietta in 1992, but we had never been to Chicago's. Not only was the decor beautiful and tasteful, the food and the service was superb. I am just sorry we had not tried it when we lived closer. However, it is worth an hour drive for us to return, which we definitely will do.

"I love visiting Chicago's when I go to my parent's house in the 'burbs. The food is always fantastic. We've never had a bad experience. Our steaks are always cooked perfectly the first time. I usually don't like blackened but our server recommended the prime rib blackened and he was SO right. Amazing. We also told him we like our creme brule a little warm. He fired the creme brule himself and it was absolutely perfect.
Wine is reasonably priced. Beer is cold. Servers are knowledgeable and very nice. We really couldn't ask for anything better. Such a fabulous way to celebrate an early Father's Day with my mom and dad."

"While my wife and I are no longer "young", this place made us feel like teenagers. The clientele are definitely very mature (as in every other table). The service is very good, but don't expect a leisurely meal with time to talk and enjoy a glass of wine. Place your order and salads come immediately, finish your salad and your entrees come immediately. I'm not complaining, just a different sort of dining experience. The food was a bit over peppered, but still good. Take your grandparents or in my case parents and they'll be very pleased. Not "Fit for Foodies", not "Romantic"."

"We were 35 mins early and were told that we would have to wait until around 5:45 PM to get seated since all they didn't have any available seats earlier than that.We decided to eat at the bar and what a surprise.The "bar" was a separate room with booths.It was much quieter than the main dining area which was packed.Our waitress was the bartender.She did a marvelous job keeping our drinks filled an ensuring that we were happy.The food came out nicely and we enjoyed ribs, fish and chips (which are actually French fries) and shrimp and scallops.The fish was as good as what we used to get in London; the ribs were good but not great, and the seafood was delicious.
If we go again without a reservation, we'll head for the bar for sure."

"Never would have guessed from it's suburban strip-mall location how full of character it is inside! Made a reservation for Mother's Day lunch. Kids enjoyed the brunch menu, I loved the fish and chips. Great service. We'll be back!"

"We live in the area and eat at Chicago's in Roswell periodically. We are always happy with the food, the service, and the feel of the place. My wife loves the seafood dishes and I get chicken or beef -- always good.
We usually go with another couple and the booths are roomy enough to be comfortable for 4, yet quiet enough so we can all talk easily and enjoy the conversation."

"My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Chicago's this past Saturday evening and not only was the service excellent, the food was excellent, as well. My prime rib was cooked to perfection and my husband's pistachio-encrusted trout was delicious. The veggies could have been steamed a few seconds longer, but they were still tasty. I might add that Gnarly Head Zinfandel is an excellent wine to try. After dinner, we went into the lounge for some entertainment and we were not disappointed. It was a lovely evening and a great way to celebrate a special occasion, although Chicago's would be a good choice any evening of the week."

"We went to Chicago's to celebrate my wife's birthday. She had been there before, but this was my first time there. The food and service were absolutely excellent. My wife had the shrimp scampi appetizer and the filet mignon. Both were perfect, according to her. I started with the calamari appetizer, which was as good as I've ever had. And it was large enough for 3 people. I was trying to decide between the ribeye steak and prime rib. The waiter said his favorite is the prime rib, and he said they could also prepare it blackened. I chose that, and it absolutely melted in my mouth. I have never eaten any prime rib that was better. Our server, Seth, was friendly, helpful, attentive, and professional. We can hardly wait to go back!"

"We went here for brunch on a Sunday. The food did not taste good. The prices were too high for the amount of food you received. The customer service was horrible. The waitress didn't come to check on us. I asked for ketchup and she didn't bring it or apologize for not bringing it. I wil not be going back."

"Waitress was very attentive. Not sure if they were short staffed at the time we arrived. Some of our food was brought out by someone who appeared to be a hostess. This was a Sunday afternoon, our first visit. There were a number of older adults dining. Not sure if this is the norm or if the restuarant is patronaged by a mixture of adults. Overall it was a good experience. Not sure if we will visit again."

"This birthday dinner in honor of my wife was disappointing. The waiter was uninspired and dull having to ask him for water, bread, no special dessert in celebration of a special birthday- ie. complementary dessert or similar token. The meal was similarly disappointing. I asked for well done prime rib and the meat was reddish, not cooked to my order/ as was the Talipia which was mushy.
I felt rushed to order the entre. Of course the bill came on time and the dessert was good/but I would never recommend or return to Chicago again."

"I went with my family, (husband, 2 teenagers, my mom) to celebrate my birthday. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive but not annoyingly so. He answered questions and was helpful and amiable. The food was delicious. they offered early bird specials which we got. Not huge amounts of food, but that's fine -- a just right amount. The Hanger steak was delicious, my son loved his hamburger, my husband enjoyed the prime rib and my older son said the shrimp and grits was "a flavor sensation." I would recommend it for a night out with friends, family. The noise level got a little high towards the end but we could still converse comfortably and even my hard of hearing mom could hear."

"We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation in spite of the fact that it was valentines evening. The food as always was excellent. I had the featured fish which was grouper. It was very well prepared with grilled vegetables. We also had bananas foster for dessert. Was worth every calorie!"

"This was our first trip to Chicagos. Great stuff! The place was packed & had a good buzz (not too loud tho). We ordered the fried green tomato fries - yum!! I had a delicious filet & my husband had a big burger. We loved that the kitchen was surrounded by windows & watched some steaks being cooked. We'll be back!"
